Missing Skill Points

I have a barbarian, level 51. Currently missing 2 skill points, this happened on level up to 50 and 51. Once I hit 50 I chose my paragon, then was mulling over the skill screen for a while and the skill point disappeared. I thought I simply misclicked a skill.

Same thing happened on level up to 51.

I have 6 renown rewards and I just refunded all the skills and now I show 54 points available.

Level 1-51 = 50 skill points
6 renown = 56 skill points

I made a level one character and I show 6 skill points available from the renown. So it appears a bug upon level up.

Is there something I am missing? Is this happening to other people?

I have a level 39 necromancer and I am missing 1 skill point redeemed by the renown reward.

I have 4 skill points from renown rewards, but only 3 are counting in the skill tree.

I currently have 42 skill points, but the correct thing would be for me to have 43 points.

You start at level 1 with 0 skillpoints? (-> 1 missing SP explained)

And on level 50 I received none too.
For some reason I only received “welcome to paragon leveling” and maybe a paragon point? (-> there might be one missing? or it is intended?)

I asked Excel for help - I hope I did not make mistakes summing up each level of the skill tree.

renown: 10
total skill points: 58

skills from leveling: 48 = 49 - 2 + 1 = [level with last skill point] - [lowest level with skill point] + 1
At least it is the same for all of us?

I guess paragon starting with level 50 is intended.

Apparently I didn’t know but skill points max out at level 49. 50 and above is paragon only. So there is my missing two skill points. Doh

I´m missing several Skillpoints too. i think i got the missing skillpoints as paragonpoints. thats not what the reward says. it says “Skillpoint” how do i get my skilloints back. they are missing in my build!

I’m also having the issue, level 57 necro, 58 skill points with all location renown needed for 10 skill points. I was watching build videos and was wondering where they were coming up with all the extra points and came to the conclusion that mine is just glitched…

I just realized I’m having this problem on my Rogue. Not sure if it’s happening to my other characters but I have all renown skill points and I am level 50. When I hit refund skill points it tells me I have 58 skill points to refund and none available.

Bump this, missing one skillpoint i got from map completion after respec.

how many skill points do you have total? like when you refund everything.

9 times out of 10, folks arent missing any points, its just a matter of not counting correctly. usually due to missing a skill you have a point in, or getting mixed up about skills that get +x from an item.

A bug here about skill points for sure… I had a core skill fully developed (5+1+1)… Tried to relocate to another core skill… refunded extensions and 4/5 of my curent core skill… so I had 6 available points… Started the other core skill… stopped at 1/5 and all other skill points vanished… Now I have 2 core skilld with 1/5 and 5 missing points. plus that I cant refund the point left of the core skill i dont want… Reinstalling game right now to see if something will repair.

Later edit: Didnt, as data is server side, of course :slight_smile: … But I solve it. Refunding all through pressinjg that button gave back all 58 points - like those missing points were there but not showing :slight_smile: The funny thing is that now I found a skill point that was also lost on the way that I even didn’t knew about :smiley:

i’m level 68 with all renown Skill points unlocked, only have 58 skill points from respec

Never mind just realized you only get a max of 58, thought it was 60 for some reason

DId a respec today and am now 2 points short of 58 for build, very annoying!

Bumping thread.

Used the refund all feature to reset all my skill points and now i’m missing two point.

WTH blizzard >:(

I HAVE 54 POINTS. Onlyone more point to get from renown. Well how do I fix this? Otherwise I going to play something else.

The missing skill point issue is still alive and well, Level 60 (65) and skill tree only shows 69 points spent with no extras versus the 71 i should have… i am missing 2 skill points as well, keep hoping it resolves itself but not so much
