I have been getting mini freeze / animation delay after using Rapid Fire / Penetration Shot and it is freaking annoying… I cant move for maybe 0.2 seconds - 0.3 seconds after using a skill… I saw similar bugs report in the forum but I doubt the devs are aware of it…
Anyone whos getting the same prob please back me up so the devs could see the post

Been having this issue for a long time… When you shoot using Rapid Fire or Penetrating Shot, it freeze your movement after shooting sometimes for about 0.5 - 1.0 seconds… If anyone knows a fix for it please do let know… Thanks in advance!
I’m not sure if this is intentional game design or a unique experience to me, but it seems like the effect of Deep Freeze (its immunity, primarily) is less immediately responsive compared to say Flame Shield, due to its ‘casting animation’. Maybe it is designed this way as to differentiate it as an ultimate ability rather than a 5th defensive spell, but it’s pretty damn frustrating hitting my deep freeze to avoid a dangerous mechanic, just for me to die while my character goes through her animat…
When using the Rapid Fire skill, I noticed that if you were to use a non-energy spending attack, (In my case it was the seeking arrow that I was using) the character would play the ‘Rapid Fire’ animation again, though it would fire no arrows.
In summary, Rapid Fire → Seeker Arrow (spamming left click for the soonest possible seeker arrow) results in a “dry fire” animation of Rapid Fire to play again, which is a very long animation in terms of Diablo, leaving the player vulnerable and not output…
I’m casting Rapid Fire the and character animation plays like normal, but there are no arrows flying. It seems like there is no damage dealt as well. It’s a bit hard to track down because I play with Poison Trap and mix it with the Basic attacks, but I saw this about 4 times now, and I am pretty sure it’s not that the arrows are just invisible.

Anyone play rapid fire build notice that there’s a delay when firing more than 1 rapid shot? What happens is I hold down right click, it fires 1 or 2 rapid fires, I left click to move, char takes 1-2 steps, then rapid fires again, even though I never pressed right click. This is very annoying and has gotten me killed a few times as my char doesn’t move when I need him to.
It feels like there’s a queue system in place so there’s a delay when skills are activated. Can we disable this?
Hi! It looks as if others have reported this back in March with no fix. If you Rapid Fire and move quickly (some reported using a basic skill in quick succession also caused this) you go through the animation of using rapid fire again while not shooting any arrows. The player wasn’t planning on using rapid fire twice in a row to begin with to clarify. It locks you in place for that 1 second unable to move until the animation concludes; definitely needs a fix please!
