well congratulations, i did 129 before nerfs without ever buying any item to boost the strength of my character, infact im running around with mostly 1GA items still.
Seems pretty balanced then without trading.
Posts of this kind should be automatically marked as trolling IMHO.
apart from, that i wouldnt got this far without rerolling stats on items and redoing masterworking… before trading i was forced to throw away items not only bc of tempering, but also bc i couldnt afford stat rerolling after 5rolls per item.
I totally agree they should also respect our time more.
People should ask for SSF if trading is a problem for them
Disabling trade is a mistake. Trade is one of the community-based activity. And there is not many of it in the game. So it shouldnt be killed
It is also one of the endgame activity too. Farming and selling GA items
Trading should stay in the game - it’s healthy and fun for some (need AH though).
Adding a SSF league solves the problem for those who don’t like trading or competing with whales.
It’s not that complicated.
Post farmer…

Well said, besides the healthy part.
because my guild and I can share items we could not before, it has made this season so much easier someone needs something we all log in as same class and go farm till someone gets what they need and can trade it to the person that needed it. why not just join a guild and who cares what the RMT people do. Play the game for YOU and your friends.
Trading is a good thing, but the current functionality is a bad joke. We need a trading post in game, hell they could even make it all take place in one location, and tie it into lore if they felt that was needed.
If WoW can do it, and EQII could do it even better almost 20 years ago I can’t see why D4 can’t do it. Better to have it in game, than to have it on just another site asking for subscriptions.
The thing is that items in WoW are not set up to be so rare for a GG item, they have set stats to items. Its a completely different machine to get BiS gear. With trading being fully unrestricted, people can pay RM to get boosted to lvl 100, and have all BiS gear without even playing the game.
Than simply play without trading as many others…noone forces you to play trading simulator if you don’t want to.
Or do you live with the selfish mindset that says: “If I dont like it, noone should have it”? ![]()
The healthy comment is simple, there are alot of people who really enjoy buying/selling…like the stock market - some love it and some hate it.
Again, SSF league removes any need to remove trading from the game but gives those who don’t care for it a level playing field.
Remove the RMT completely and this will be healthy.
SSF is not the answer for someone who plays in a clan and party.
D4 may end up having only Whales at the top, there are many other things to spend time and money on at that point.
SSF league can have clan and party’s you just can’t trade.
SSF is solo self found
That’s the ideal, but not the reality. Why? Because I’m rarely if ever playing the same class as a friend.
Oh? Here’s some gear. Yeah, it has +Int on it, I know you’re a Druid, sorries!
Oh here’s this awesome aspect! It makes Blizzard launch icicles! Neat, right?!? Oh, but you’re a Necro, no Blizzards for you!
The only items I’ve given friends were a few million for starter gold, and some rares/legendaries to melt for starter materials.
You can still group with people you just can’t share loot, in my SSF - what I am saying would work for everyone. Basically the same game with no trading - what you find solo/group is what you can equip.
Leave the current game as is and add a new league with no trading - I am calling it SSF for convenience.
EDIT: Maybe alow trading with whomever is with you when something drops? Like wow in a Mythic?
I got Shako & grandfather within 10 torm kills.
Both the drops were solo run, i had maybe 5 solo duriel, 4 group duriel and 1 torm Varshan.
It does not matter that much.
You can also “just” level characters to full iron wolf 4 times for whichever one you want as well. (which is still like 12-16 hrs per character)
