Make all items BOA

All content that requires mats take equal mats for everyone involved, balance around this so Solo players aren’t screwed.

I don’t want to play a trading simulator where the people on top are Whales.
I want to feel like I can compete without wasting time on third party sites. I want to play the game.

The people who want to trade for or purchase their loot will be all over this one, wait for it

Don’t mind me I’m just going to hide between these :cactus: :cactus:

It would be interesting if they went with a hybrid approach. For instance, they could make anything with a greater affix automatically BoA along with uber uniques. Then people could still trade for gear with the affixes they want for their build, but would have to farm the elite 2 & 3 GA items themselves.

What do you mean by ‘compete’ exactly? That might help with furthering the discussion.

Personally, I don’t care for PvP, pushing the Pit, Gauntlets, leaderboards, etc. so I’m not really competing with anyone except myself…

I just posted this in another thread:

That’s a good point my bro. I feel like even being in a group and fighting bosses or running a dungeon, we all feel like we are competing a bit. But we do need in game leaderboards for Pit, level 100 dates, achievements, and new exciting things for the future.

The game is about efficiency, and if you are spending your time wisely and how far you can push yourself. Well that’s how I look at everything.

It’s not fun. Even more so with attacks and more PVE elements. You will never be able to be immortal with the flaming shield without trading or buying gold. Let them put a limit on gold per item or other tools to control trade. Or game modes, etc. This is healthy for the game. I want to know that whoever arrived at pit 180 really dedicated themselves to the game and not just those who have an infinite credit card.

Nope. Just nope. So you don’t like trading, therefore nobody may trade? Don’t trade, simple. But don’t insist it gets taken away from the many, many people who do enjoy trading.

Can you explain why you care so much what others do with their money or what you are “competing” for?

And what about the streamers who will always be better than you and have more than you because they play 20 hours a day and have an army of simpletons feeding them gear and exp?

Do you next intend to make a post begging for capping maximum game time per day?

You need to start thinking before you embaress yourself with such nonense. If and when you enter the professional world these illogical ideas and blatant envy will not serve you well.

It clearly has nothing to do with playing a lot. This is the lie that Blizzard promotes to the masses and why they are willing to turn a blind eye to Rob when he shows people how to use exploits.

I mean, I want trading to exist but I’m not whipping out my CC for it nor am I going to use third party sites to trade.

Blizz went the other direction. They opened up trading even more. This to me was a good thing. I was able to trade my buddy some gear and some aspects he either didn’t have or needed a higher roll of. He was also able to trade me the same. This gets rid of some of the bad luck and I’ll tell you that I have some of the worst luck in this game. I’m glad for trading.

The thing is you are not competing with them.

The Gauntlet leaderboards and future proposed leaderboards say this is not fully true.

If you’re playing solo, who are you competing with?

You already have what you want. Ignore what other people are doing and just play.

It’ difficult for me to understand the complaint here, even as a largely solo player.

Dude come on….seriously

I’m all for disabling trade, as long as they adjust the loot drop rates, specifically GA items.

Because asking me to farm alone in a fing 3 month season is stupid af, f that fing idea.

Or give me a gold AH, I’d be happy with that too.

No agree or against :statue_of_liberty:
BOE (or RMT) won’t ruin the gaming experience, if you don’t force yourself to compete or compare with others, in fact, it is often unrealistic comparison that ruins your gaming experience.
BOA won’t save the game either, because in fact there are a lot of people who are willing to pay for virtual games to get a more “FAST” thrill (and of course there are people who are happy to make money from it), in fact, the good content that saves the game.
It’s just life, accept it and enjoy it :innocent:.

Diablo is a A-rpg bases on FARMING & LOOTING(not role-play), although it is still classified as an RPG, it doesn’t have much of a “Role-play” component (except for the main story part, which is done on ur own and doesn’t have any contact/trading with other players)

Blizzard should have done this from day 1. But i guess they wanted to see what would happen even with so called limited trade or i should say Items for sale.

Well, it’s a valid view, and it’s why Diablo 3 became what it was, to get rid of this underground economy.

Whether they will do it or not remains to be seen, but I think it’s unlikely.

I do agree with you though that I don’t want to play Wallstreet Simulator just to compete in an ARPG.
