This is a weird way to throttle people. Why are we waiting 2 hours to learn we can’t access the servers? Is the 2 hour wait not throttling enough?
Small sample size, but 2 of the people I know that pre-purchased the game can’t get in, while the 2 people I bought chicken sandwiches for can get in. Seems weird
So I went to sleep, just woke up again to try to get back into the game with the hope of low to none queue times.
Good news, I have no queue times.
Bad news, I still have the same error.
its now 2:24 am CET here, hasnt been fixed since around 5:30 CET until to 2:24 AM CET.
I’ve noticed that too. Getting ~20min queue times as opposed to 120min lol. The last attempt had me at the authenticating stage a lot longer and it really got my hopes up. But nope, still code 315306…
The fact that people with a kfc ticket are getting in but people who paid $100 aren’t is honestly maddening. I know it’s a beta, but it’s a beta that I paid to get in that I now don’t get to participate in and Blizzard won’t give us an answer
refunding and buying on another account won’t fix your account. you’ll just be creating a 2nd account. That’s fine if you just want to play the beta but if you want to have your progress count and get the cosmetic wolf pup tied to your existing battle.net account then you need to wait until blizzard corrects this problem.
I played the end game alpha, and prepurchased the game as soon as it was available. Now being told through generic happy-go-lucky, copy-paste customer service robot that the problem has to do with throttling??? Throttling, one would assume, is done purposely to avoid overloaded servers. How does it make sense for this “throttling” to only affect me once i’ve already waited in queue? this shows very clearly that Blizz either doesn’t know what the problem is (but won’t admit that), or doesn’t care… sad
