[Main Thread] Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV. (Code 315306)

This is a weird way to throttle people. Why are we waiting 2 hours to learn we can’t access the servers? Is the 2 hour wait not throttling enough?

Small sample size, but 2 of the people I know that pre-purchased the game can’t get in, while the 2 people I bought chicken sandwiches for can get in. Seems weird

The Original post used the wrong error code. that’s why blizzard responded with that message. It has since been corrected.

we know we want another person to respond

Install OBS and launch it. If they are doing anything to prioritize streamers, it’s probably checking if obs64.exe is running.

attempt number IDONTKNOW … been repeatedly attempting since beta launch over 9 hours ago. still recieving error 315306.

I’ll keep updating this thread until blizzard does something or makes an announcement acknowledging this problem.

For now it seems all they’re concerned about is the quality of the experience for the people that are still logged in or able to log in.

Positive note, the recent 3 queues have been 35mins instead of 116mins so I get to fail faster.

Failure Counter: Unknown, too many to count.

So I went to sleep, just woke up again to try to get back into the game with the hope of low to none queue times.

Good news, I have no queue times.
Bad news, I still have the same error.
its now 2:24 am CET here, hasnt been fixed since around 5:30 CET until to 2:24 AM CET.

Thank you, I guess !!!

It astounds me how much Blizzard does not care about people who actually paid for this game!

I’ve noticed that too. Getting ~20min queue times as opposed to 120min lol. The last attempt had me at the authenticating stage a lot longer and it really got my hopes up. But nope, still code 315306…

The fact that people with a kfc ticket are getting in but people who paid $100 aren’t is honestly maddening. I know it’s a beta, but it’s a beta that I paid to get in that I now don’t get to participate in and Blizzard won’t give us an answer

Am I just unlucky to be throttled 6 times in a row? There’s gotta be something more to it.

I wonder if we can refund the game and buy it again to fix whatever is f*d up.

I’ve tried refund and re-buy as has at least one other person. It doesn’t fix anything

You need to refund and rebuy on a new account. I tried your method and it didn’t work also.

Attempt 14. No valid license

im so tired of retrying retrying retrying wtf blizzard

this really is hell another 20 min wait

Don’t give up, they can’t fail us all. . . :frowning:

We go again

refunding and buying on another account won’t fix your account. you’ll just be creating a 2nd account. That’s fine if you just want to play the beta but if you want to have your progress count and get the cosmetic wolf pup tied to your existing battle.net account then you need to wait until blizzard corrects this problem.

I played the end game alpha, and prepurchased the game as soon as it was available. Now being told through generic happy-go-lucky, copy-paste customer service robot that the problem has to do with throttling??? Throttling, one would assume, is done purposely to avoid overloaded servers. How does it make sense for this “throttling” to only affect me once i’ve already waited in queue? this shows very clearly that Blizz either doesn’t know what the problem is (but won’t admit that), or doesn’t care… sad
