Just tried that too but it didn’t work for me.
Look at your game sharing fine print.

- Early access to time-limited game trials.
It’s not a shared game. I did play the open server slam but got the deluxe edition on my single account and just tried the “buying currency “ fix with no luck.

Your point here is invalid seeing as only pre order users were supposed to get early access to beta, and I was able to take advantage of that early access via game share.

This is not a TIme limited trial. And this restriction does not allow you to run trials on secondary accounts from the UI console, you will see a lock.

Asked for a refund. A group of my friends on PlayStation bought the game and I was left playing alone on PC because of an obscure license sharing problem among members of the same household. Be warned… better wait the official release and save a few bucks.

At least not in the situation a lot of us are in.
I bought it under my PS Account, I can log in. My wife cannot on her PS Account.
Hell, I can’t even get it to load on my PC when the server slam and open beta worked just fine.
It’s insane. And now I’ve wasted another 3 canadian dollars on a fix that doesn’t work.
And yes, I’ve already tried downloading a free game. Not from the Catalog. That also doesn’t work.

I am using PS5 and trying to log in with Asia server. Tried all tricks, but still no luck. The license issue is gone, but I get stuck with screen of logging into Diablo4, the spinning loading logo is freezing.
worked for me and my friends. Sorry that happened. You’ll be able to play soon though i hope. 3 of us did the silver thing, and 2 did the installing games. I asked it was from games in catalogue meaning they do an “add to library” from the catalogue, as if it was a free purchase.

They really need to make it so we could game share, i want to play with my cousin, but i cant because he doesnt have the game. I know people might say the he should just buy it, but he is unsure about buying it since this will be his first diablo game and i dont want to force him to buy it. I bought the ultimate edition and it allows him to download it, so why cant he play? Why even allow him to download it if he cant play it…

yeah that means nothing for the Console players that are getting absolutely shafted on being able to participate in the Hardcore contest mode like you guys seriously need to figure out a way of making it up to the console community considering yet again y’all didn’t do a proper stress test for a pre release
