Hi Blizzard and fellow community,
I’m seeing this error when trying to log (first-time open beta tester) in.

My windows10 version is
Windows 10 Home,
Version 22H2,
OS Build 19045.2728.

I meet the requirement but game ain’t allowing play.
Any solutions are welcome. thanks in advance!

Update - solved by reinstalled battlenet desktop app. TY.

I’m running LTSC 2016 with WDDM 2.1 (dxdiag). This beta I get the same error, then a new 2nd popup error:

Unsupported OS Info
Unsupported OS Version (10.0.14393)

So it appears all they did with the bug reports we emailed them was not fix the “bug”, but rather take our OS version and stick it into a popup.

Edit: time to refund. Their games are refundable within 14 days if you have less than 2 hours played.

Didn’t bother preordering but definitely not going to order if I am having this issue with the open beta. I am running WDDM 2.5, have updated my windows 10 LTSC to the latest version and reinstalled battlenet completely. There should at least be an option to disable this check.

i have this error i have reinstalled 3 times. and i can’t fix that. i buy this game that play beta . and i can’t play now. Thx blizzard. Worse developers this company!!!

How do you bypass the error in launcher though? Is it same as Overwatch 2, or you don’t need a secondary OS to “download” the beta?

Same here with 1809…its just ridiculous that u can’t play a game with a fully update OS. No other game in the space is this picky…If POE running smoth and all other Blizzgames why the hell not D4? crazy…
I am not even thinking about changing my system to play…just sticking with POE then…

My good sir, i work in a multinational business, and i am familiarized with the customer care department. What you just wrote is a load of nonsense.
So many new and old games, more or less demanding games work flawlessly, and yet D4 can’t? Really, that’s the problem? I would say that it’s just a lack of caring about your customers. Glad i changed my mind on prepurchasing.

Just to confirm, I upgraded from LTSC 1809 to LTSC 2021 without clean reinstall (mounted iso and installed from windows) and I was able to launch game.

i try reinstall my all windows, battle.net, beta files and i had same OS 1909 error. My version is Win10 2H22

I think you don’t understand.
I’m confirming this solution works, in case people that were in my situation want to be sure it works by simply upgrading OS mounting the ISO without having to format and install Windows 10 Home/Pro.
