Where was the spoiler in the title?
If you are entering into a thread called.
Lilith did nothing wrong, dont you think its heavy on spoilers ?
No because this is a simple troll post from wow âSylvannas did nothing wrong.â
Incited murder (especially of the innocent), cannibalism, and probably similar things.
Those are wrong no matter what your goal is.
i made this thread based on the knowledge i have from completing the first 20 minutes of gameplay.
now, if this spoiled something, i was really honestly unaware of it, the most i know about lilith is my ex - GF, that does not play diablo and is talking about general mythology, saying that she killed all demons that wanted to kill her sons. so i was like âwtf she did nothing wrongâ based on me also being willing to kill anyone that wants to kill my kids.
You are talking in the past tense there as if she is being judged.
But even then, Lilith and Inarius got togheter, they were supposed to be sworn enemies.
Do you really think that if you are the Daugther of Hatred you can have good childs ??
At the very least, she knows her choice had consequences, unlike Inarius
Maybe Iâll get it on another play, but I never got that she wanted to control hell. She was afraid of Mephisto and the other Primes (I thought Diablo and Baal were Prime Evils, not lesser?) so she wanted to take Mephâs power to protect herself. If she wanted to control hell it was a means to an end. I think itâs consistent in the story that all she cares about is ending the conflict, albeit at any cost. She doesnât care about humans and not necessarily Sanctuary either, which is why the Hero decided to fight her. Too much of a wildcard and an opportunity to strike while sheâs weak.
I also donât see how she thinks hell is any different. She made it clear that she has every intention of screwing over everyone in heaven and hell to end the conflict (Sheâs out to end her own father, and had to make a deal with Astaroth to get to him). Her and Inarius decided to abandon their places, itâs just that Lilith accepted her fate and continued to rebel, while Inarius was delusional and attempted to curry favor.
It all clicked for me.
its honestly garbage writing and being shoehorned into a single path you donât agree with
Lilith had some good points but did you SEE what she did to some of the people who gave her what she wanted and took her offer?
Making a deal with Lilith was like accepting the âblessingâ of the cenobites.
she is wrong by humanityâs pov. Turning citizens mad and slaughtering one another, empowering people to take up arms basically. All for her own personal war against heaven and hell. âMotherâ she may be, but humans donât want to die you know. Why should regular people fight her war
Between Inarius and Lilith, she is the lesser evil in this case. Inarius is total scum. Imagine sexing some girl who you loved, then think she is no longer the one you seek and decided to kill her off. He also make used of humans as his own personal army
If the story had choices like a real game, Iâd have taken her hand when she offered it.
I donât think she or her son are actually dead. I mean, the guy who Elias learned how to become semi-immortal isnât going to let himself and his mom die so easily. I think we will see them again, because they are awesome and know how to cheat death.
Plus, her son told his father that nothing he did would change the future he saw. The dude already knows whatâs going to happen, and I doubt it is over.
As far as the story goes demons donât die they just will re-incarnate later on.
And on my own note, I would of def sided with lilith if given the chanceâŚ
There is also a dam side quest in the game where we help a demonâŚ
There is a hint from Lorath about her. All her decisions are fueled by hatred. So sge can never be good. Thats her core drive.
Naw Lilith is a lil sweetie and I like looking at her.
Lol no. He didnt want his essence to be trapped forever in soulstone. Main character didnt side with Mephisto. We used Mephisto to destroy the Lilith while also removing Mephisto by trapping him. That moron screwed up.
SPOILERS!
I agree with most of what you wrote in your post. Which gives me more reason to side with her, rather than Mephisto because she wants to end this eternal conflict, no matter the cost.
Mephisto and his brothers only wants to continue this endless and pointless war with the heavens.
Her methods might be wrong, but at least she tried to end the war. And it triggers me that we couldnât take her side and whatever happened with sanctuary or the situation between heaven and hell could be set up for the upcoming dlc.
But now sheâs gone and it felt bad? She looked sincerely disappointed and hurt that we didnât understand her vision to end this eternal conflict. ( when she turns to stone )
One thing I disliked as well, was how naive and stubborn our character was. With the influence of both Lilith and Mephisto, I wouldâve have liked our character to be a little more torn regarding the whole sh*t show of a situation Sanctuary is in.
Also what do you think of Lilithâs proposal to our character being the leader of humanity and her staying in the shadows?
You are incorrect, sir. Mephisto is a master of deception and lies. He taught Belial everything he knows. He planned ALL of this. Heâs the one that hooked up with Auriel to create Lilith and Lucion. He did it, so that Lilith would do what she did in creating Sanctuary. It was his plan all along. The Soulstone was entirely his goal, because it allows him to interact with the remnants of the Worldstone while he is in Sanctuary. It increases his power. Mephisto never once feared Lilith or her actions. He used OUR fear against us. Mephisto is an immutable force of existence. He is a portion of the being Annu, which created the universe and all of reality. He can never be destroyed or stopped. He will exist forever. Thereâs a reason it is called the Eternal Conflict.
she sees weak people as useless and wants them dead. Who will farm etc to feed the âstrongâ people? She basically wants to use humans for war for her own ends and obviously doesnât care about them in the long term.
Donanâs son leaves the chat.
