Question: will there be any changes to the world boss system in future seasons? Better scaling in higher world tiers would be appreciated. Or special tormented versions for level 100 characters.

Edit: after reading through thread, a lot of concern about tempering system bricking items and how the druid (and sorcerer) are lagging behind other classes. Hope those get addressed.

Who on the dev team has pushed the furthest in the Pit? Who makes the best builds? Is there any in-office competition going on?

  • What about allowing tempering on the uniques to make them more special again and more powerful than normal legendary’s as it should be.
    Would be a good thing to test on the PTR.

  • A better distributed drop rate in the pits for the Stygian Stones would also be appropriate in my opinion. What about that?
    In general i think the material farming for the Tormented Bosses is very boring and tedious.

  • Can we get better ingame tooltips that make the whole damage calculation more transparent? So that we know exactly how to develop our character.

Necromancer as a class feels a bit off. Minions feel like a class mechanic that should not be associated with a skill. I do agree with golem being a skill but to me having minions should feel automatic. Most consist of minion golem blood mist and a corpse skill. If we had a freed up skill slot it could bring better build diversity. Is there any plans to make the class feel more unique?

question: with the new expansion, will we have more lilith statues to find and if so, will at least there be one that rewards paragon like the orginal ones?

  • Can you confirm the future of the Temperings? some people are asking for a removal of temperings, which others dont really support. certain adjustments are nice, but a removal is a no go to me personally.

  • Is there a possibility for the spirit born to be playable before VoH releases?

  • will the expansion also enhance the old worldmap, now that mephisto is on the rise?

  • Are there updates on the unique items so far? they arent “too weak” but they for sure lost some value with the new systems, especially some uniques that were rather niche, like frostbrand.

  • with the s4 boss ladder improvements, and the extremely increased income of summoning mats, do you consider a transmute option for andariel/duriel mats?

  • any news on character loadouts? it has been said you are looking into this in the past. so far there hasnt been any news.

Will there be more than TWO levels to Pits in the future like in Diablo 3?

“Bricking” a great item, such as a 2-3 greater affix item with the desired stats, via tempering is very common and creates a negative experience out of finding an upgrade. The resulting loss aversion has caused many calls for changes to the tempering system and for making extreme changes to the in-game economy like adding an auction house to make acquiring additional items for gambling with tempers easier.

Q - Has the team considered making changes to tempering such as adjusting the number of choices per manual to improve the odds of getting the roll the player wants? Have they considered allowing players to reset or add additional tempering durability to items?

Q - Regarding the choices of tempering affixes, why are certain stat tempers like critical strike damage limited to one class? Are there plans to add these “common” stats to other classes?

Q - Greater affixes have been a welcome addition to the game but some stats seem to be quite rare compared to others, making the acquisition of items with the desired affixes quite difficult. Not being able to roll these GAs via enchanting adds to this friction. Has any thought been given to adding that ability to the occultist? Maybe a consumable could be created that allows players to improve an affix on their items?

Q - Regarding trade, has the team considered any means of easing or eliminating friction from trading via an in-game auction house or player marketplace? Examples can be found in other ARPGs like Phantasy Star Online 2, which allows players to open a virtual store for listing items, and Last Epoch.

Q - Alternately, is there any regret from the team about opening up trade to allow players to buy and sell uniques and legendary items? Has the team considered completely eliminating player trade by making all items account bound by default? What about adding a solo self found mode to the game with drop rates tailored to that experience?

Q - Considering how popular the “threat bug” was in Helltides before it was fixed, has any thought been given into increasing the intensity of the event? Perhaps an item similar to the Profane Mindcage could be used to simulate being stuck at maximum threat. The constant ambushes and huge numbers of elites added a lot to the experience.

Is there any chance you guys could either include an in-game tutorial on how to utilize the new item enhancement interface? I logged in, fiddled around with it and noped out. It made zero sense to me off the bat and I’d just rather play something else than go looking up an in depth video tutorial on how to use an in-game system.

Here is my question: With Tempering in full swing, we now have to collect 3-4 items of the same gear slot in order to increase our chance to get a Temper results that we like.

This of course requires a lot of stash space to store them in. When is Blizzard going to increase our stash space? Another 10 tabs or so should do it, since we play multiple classes & builds and they all require different types of gear.

When will we be getting more inventory space? and auto dismantle all rares/magic/white? can we get increased stack size on potion/mats? can we have nm sigils only tab?

  1. Can you make Crit Damage and Vulnerable Damage tempering recipes for Barbarians? As it stands now if you want these two stats on Offense pieces, you need to level a rogue

  2. Can you limit Tempering Recipes to have no more than 4 possible stats on them? The recipes with 3 stats feel great, whereas the ones with 5 feels awful and I never find what I’m looking for
