I was pretty sure that dungeon resetting with party change was intended…and it was talked about in April.
What I don’t know is if they really intended it work the way it is. Sometimes unintended consequences happen.
Will they do anything about people who used a mechanic they put in game on purpose? During Early Access?
I doubt it. If anything I expect them to disable or change the mechanic so it can’t be used like that going forward. Punishing people for using it during Early Access at game release seems …overkill.
There is nothing competitive going on right now except getting your Battletag on a statue at HQ for the first 1000 valid Twitter entries into the level 100 HC contest.
There are no Seasons, the game is not even in full release. I personally think punishment for it is overkill at this stage, given Blizzard told people that resetting dungeons by changing party leader would be a game mechanic.
At the same point dungeons with low mob density should be buffed a little? For instance you have a dungeon that you can speed run in, I don’t know say 5 minutes, and it nets an average of 50K experience during those 5 minutes. While a longer dungeon run that has numerous objectives takes 30 minutes only nets around 90K experience. By your own logic, Shouldn’t that dungeon be buffed to be able to grant 300K experience? Would make quite a few dungeons not such a drag to run or just be skipped entirely (assuming you already got the aspect or didn’t need it).
