Step 1 : I buy the game on PC on my bnet account
Step 2 : I buy the game on PS5 so my kid can play with me
Step 3 : realise the psn account was linked to my bnet account
Step 4: Go to my bnet account page to unlink my psn account
Step 5 : log into my kids bnet account and link the psn account
Step 6 : Invalid license on ps5 on the account which is supposed to be linked.
I gave money to Sony to play on ps5 and I followed linking accounts procédure and now I can’t play at all
The error code is a psn error from what I’ve experienced. A couple of my other games would not open due to licensing errors yesterday,
I have a ps4, and my friend its sharing the game with me, he can log in, and I cant, I need tu way 4 days tu play the game?
Last night, day one, i suffered through the error code and that prompted me to delete the game and reload the game 3-4 times. I attempted to get PS to renew the license roughly the same amount to times, all without any progress.
The only thing i didnt try was, longing completely out from PS, shutting the PS5 down, turning it back on and re logging in manually again. I saw in the Reddit forums that several people did this and it updated and the game worked.
What i did was buy the darn horse and it allowed me in the game. Im not sure why, just glad it did.
My daughter, PS5 and Granddaughter, PS4, tried last night and were in the same boat as i was. The daughter even purchased the horse and the game still refuses her entry.
The only thing i can think of is that there is a conflict between blizzard and or PS on how it sees their accounts.
The daughter and granddaughter play on different machines with the main PS account holder (games being purchased in his name) being the husband/father. He does not have a blizzard account but has an PS account.
The daughter and granddaughter are on separate sub account of the fathers main.
In fact, the granddaughter plays on the daughters old account name, not her own. They used to play blizzard 3, years ago (aprox 1 and 5 years ago) and had no problems d loading the game and playing it, then and i guess now.
The question is for you, how many, that are having problems logging in, are doing so as sub accounts to the main account with the main not having a blizzard account. I may be shooting in the dark but could this be a problem with a conflict ?
I had no problems entering any other games, including diablo 3 and elderscrolls on line. I got to 560 license, then it stopped and i got the connection thing. Have not tried it since
Blizzard Assistance answered me its a PS problem…Someone can confirm me this rumor without looking at all the posts. Just to know where to focus my words?
When you call comcast, they will always say its your end, sound kind of smokescreenish to me
If it was then Xbox users wouldn’t experience the same issues…

Is there any updates? It’s been over 12 hours and I still cannot log in. I opened a blizzard support ticket and it was immediately closed.

Why or how is this legal? We paid for a product and don’t have it and no one gives a crap… it’s BS. This is the same as stealing and I’m so over it. I may not play another Blizzard product again. I know they don’t give a damn but it’s principal. THIEVES!!

I bought any free game on psn store and re-open the game and it’s works for me I don’t know why, haha please test this out guys! See ya in hell.
Still unable to get on and play and noone seems to be addressing it anymore highly dissapointed tbh
On the PS4 I went under my settings and validated my licenses and it worked just fine.
I got it working by buying the currency, I then realized my old battle.net account was linked to my ps account so i switched my battle.net linked account to my new one, then restarted game and it went back to the licence error … may have something to do with linked battle.net account .
Even though my husband and I intended to play together and enjoy the game, we are currently unable to do so. Here’s a breakdown of what happened:
Step 1: I bought the game on PC using my Battle.net account.
Step 2: I also purchased the game on PS5 so that my wife could join me in playing.
Step 3: Unfortunately, I realized that my PSN account was already linked to my Battle.net account.
Step 4: In an attempt to resolve this, I visited the account page of my Battle.net account to unlink the PSN account.
Step 5: I then logged into my wife’s Battle.net account and linked the PSN account to her account instead.
Step 6: However, we encountered an issue where the PS5 account, which was supposed to be linked, displayed an invalid license.

C’mon guys, it’s basic economics. The Activision/Microsoft collusion/monopoly plan got exposed and blocked by the EU. Their investor lost tons of money and now you get $50 worth of game for $100. Basic inflation/we got caught.
Let’s see how much less game we get for their next release to compensate for the Chinese licensing/intellectual property theft incident of Hearthstone…
