I finally decided to do a tier 4 Infernal hordes with my 96 Rouge. Fight all the way to the end and a LONG battle with the council 0 lives remaining and I FINALLY kill them all… Very excited to accomplish this solo with crap gear… HOWEVER NOTHING HAPPENED at the end of the fight. I am stuck in the room, NO chests spawned No aether dropped, I can NOT town portal out because it is not allowed here and I am just stuck in this room. The only difference was I killed the last boss at the back of the room and he looked to be half in the wall right before he died… He teleported one last time to the back to cast the fire wave and died while doing it because I jumped behind him and we were both kinda in the back wall… 2024-08-23T05:00:00Z
Yeah last night I got that bug once, and then got dced while cashing in aether on another run.
They gotta protect players from these problems in that room.
I quit the game and reloaded it and my char is still stuck in this room. IDK how this is possible… Am I forced to start a new char??

Town portal out? Can you do that?
I sent a video in to Bliz support… maybe they can fix my character…

Huh… return to the killing room rather than the council room?
Maybe a mob was left alive? Can you portal in the killing room?
Log out for a while, like 30-60mins. See if the servers will reset your status and send you back to a town.
Oh! What about a party invite? Would that force you out? Make sure to join their world.

I can not leave the room the door is still Fogged as boss fight like it is still in progress… I will sign out for a while and try again later… Karma I guess trying to play while “working”…
funniest bug i have seen is actually when i completed an infernal horde i started looting the mats chest, then i was ported to the middle of no where way out of the room. couldnt move or get back to the chests. i ported to town and ported back, was in same spot. because i had completed it, i couldnt just walk in the entrance. 700 aether down the drain. luckily that has only happened once.

WOW that is crazy… I have not had any issues till today. Just hope I do not lose my char haha I have limit playing time and so far it is my only one I made this season. I was enjoying the rouge… Guess I can try a new class sometime later if it is gone
are you playing hardcore? btw you wouldnt lose your char unless you died. also if you cannot townportal, you can always use the scroll of escape even during a boss fight. so try that
yes. sadly this is the only end-game currently in D4, your char gets “disabled” and you need to start another one.
I know you said you tried to port out but just checking to see if you pressed “m” for the map and then 2 and then click on one of the waypoints to see if that worked.

This happened to me as well, I killed the last boss in a t7 then a DoT effect killed me right after the chests appeared. The chests spawned but i had to fight all three bosses at once again after reviving. After killing them again, I was able to collect loot from the chests but unable to leave after that. I just restarted my console and I was in kyovoshad when it loaded up.
This happened to me too, but when fighting Anderial. I died, somehow got warped through the fog wall and was stuck in her fight arena. Had to log/quit out and got sent back to town and lost basically 3 bosses worth of summing mats.
