You have to understand that, at end game, the die hard players will abandon any horde run if they don’t get a prime affix in the first two options.
I have teleported out of 12 infernal hordes today because my first two procs were garbage. Absolute. Garbage. I would rather get nothing than get sub optimal rewards. If the run is going to yield sub 500 aether, I’m out. If it happens three times in a row, I alt F4. I am posting this because I am done farming them for the time being. Waste of time.
Meaning, you are failing at your job if you don’t make them all relatively equal. No one wants masses, no one wants lords and no one wants spires. They are currently GARBAGE affixes that don’t yield nearly enough reward for their investment.
Spires make you stand still so you can’t go to other objectives.
Lords just have too much HP and seem to slow down minion spawn.
Masses are fine, just buff the aether.
Fix all three of these please.

You could have done a full run and got actually rewards in the time it took you to do those 12 waves and bailed. I’ve had the first one be crap.and everything else after that be amazing.

Like I said, I’d rather waste 2 minutes than waste 15 on garbage rewards.
I love how you come at me rather than agree that the reward structure / aether drop rate is flawed.
T8 are a breeze for me. I just need enough mats to continue gambling so it could be 400 or 800. I need dem aethers bad
I didn’t come at you stop being baby. The hordes waves are being buffed tomorrow so it might be worth sticking it out. My original point was by constantly bailing your get nothing but sticking with it will get you something. Your aether per hour and there for rewards will be better.

this is a you problem. i will finish a horde and even if i got garbage boons/banes i still always get around 500min. 500 aether on mats chest still better than nothing by porting out and pouting about the boons/banes i received.

How many people do you play with and do they min/max gameplay?
I am going to guess you solo and anyone you know does not.

I don’t understand your post OP. You realize that with any minigame/wave based system there’s going to be a meta involved and pure rng. Sometimes you get good outcomes sometimes bad, unless you want every boon to reward you with 800+ aether by the end but that still will funnel into min/maxing and fastest modifiers. If you like to min/max you gotta accept the fact that you’re gonna be screwed over more than not because you’ve reached a portion of the game where 99% of players didn’t.
The OP is a perfect example of why so many people play this game solo.
If you find someone else who does the same garbage strategy as you do, please lmk and prove me wrong 
500 aether is a waste of time? Are you insane? That’s more than a full inventory of legendary/unique items with guaranteed GAs in less than 10 minutes!

No dumb dumb it’s are. I do more than 1 and don’t struggle like you so I don’t need to reset like a trash noob.
This idiot wasted time to reset for like 100 more aether when he coulda finished it

Coming on a little strong in the complaint, but you’re not wrong that many of the modifications to the fight aren’t very rewarding. Having said that, while an “All roads lead to Rome” approach is fine, I don’t think it’s the only good approach. Having the potential to get screwed also means the potential to get a GG run, and that right there is what gets a lot of people excited. Different strokes for different folks though. 
Not really true. Ive had 700-800 runs with zero hellbornes. There are some good other combos you can get, outside of hellborne.
there are gems in those so call useless boon. selecting only hellborne doesnt give you the best Aether.

Let me beat you to the punch-No I usually played solo (yes past tense) not because I have no friends, but in fact my friends got bored of the game more quickly than I did.
