i had 10 in a row today be horible. was their a ninja nerf? i use to be able to avoid choices that would overlap things but now i get things like forcing aither spawns or spires

Same here. I’ve even had the last 2 rounds completely bounce back a run. Just work up the run-speed, and spawn-speed… then when you do get the good ones, the last two rounds can be complete chaos! :slight_smile:

you tryna tell me you don’t want to pick between Bursting Masses, Insatiable Spires, or Aether Rush after every round? If you’re lucky, Blizz might throw you a bone and toss a Bursting Fiends in there for ya

i mean, the time wasted on doing that would have allowed you to get quite a lot of aether so…i personally do not opt out, i simply get what i get : though yea i try to get as much as possible sure.

but aarpg are all about RNG , this is part of RNG too whether you like it or not
much like you may or may not get nice drop at the end

here it’s you may or may not get nice procs

Aether Fiends grant +2 Aether- Chance for Elite to spawn is doubled.

Even tho I hate getting bad choices, what I dislike more is the RNG behid the Stygian drops. I managed the extremely unlucky achievement of getting 0 stones after a 650 aether T8.

You could have done a full run and got actually rewards in the time it took you to do those 12 waves and bailed

If you not mind - few idiotic questions here :slight_smile:

  1. What are “optimum” rolls?
  2. How gambling outcome changes with level of horde? (say someone could get higher number with lower level horde …)
  3. Why spire bad (if you had say option pull enemies inside)? - 1-2 AOE just do the trick
  4. Why combo 2x masses on start + lord inside bad? (providing you can kill lord fast)?

400 to 800 is low for T8, it indicate your dps is not clearing the wave fast enough. Lower down to T7 is more optimum. I got 800 -1200 Aether in T7.

I saw a lot of YT posting this kind of low Aether T8 run, which the streamers thought their build were cruising the content.

The only way you can farm T8 efficiently is your Splintering Energy build has reached no CD state. But if you such godly build, then you must have already masterworked all gear to triple afix, so you dont have any reason to farm the Hordes again :grimacing:

I have stopped play D4 for few days, I already got 11K spare Neathiron after only farm T7 for 2 days. Now everyday just shopping in Diablo Trade for a better Winterglass :grinning:

I am on this train as well. I can easily do over 1,000 aether solo on a t8 run with a couple good affix at the start. I literally for the hell of it just played 3 runs of t8 all the way through and never got a single hellborne option. My one run was so atrocious with options I ended up with 180 at the end. Thats 100% not worth the time and ridiculous. For now on if no hellborne within the first 2 options I am trashing the instance and starting over.
