Buying a Diablo expansion for the story certainly would be a mistake.
Itās only worth it if you plan to play multiple seasons during the year and enjoy the grind.
Storywise it is absolutely not worth it.
Although they said season 7 will expand on the VoH storyā¦so will see what that really meansā¦

Same hereā¦ I almost bought it bo be honest and switched decisions every other day 
But post release it was such a big relief I didnĀ“t. Like Irres said it is not about money, it has price like 2-3 lunch but nope.
BTW it is worth to check steam charts about D4.
POST DLC rettention in the middle of seasson is same like S5 in the end

Same. I would gladly have given them my money if they managed to put out something decent, but apparently asking for the absolute minimum is just too much for Blizzard

The funniest part of all of this ācompetionā is that a tweet from the Diablo boss about ādiablo-likeā games will help to drive more PoE2 sales than it will help D4 sales

I bought the VoH last week, not because is was on sale but because I was mostly satisfied with what was presented during the last Campfire. Some might say I am satisfied with very little but I am still enjoying the game.
I donāt regret having purchased the XpaC. I did the story twice on Eternal and Seasonal. Yes, it is short and terribly bad but the D4 main story wasnāt memorable either. I spend so much time wandering around Sanctuary that I am pleased to have new areas to explore. Sure, activities are mostly the same but still.

You donāt have to justify why you bought it, if you enjoy the game as it is.
I have no problem with other people liking it.
That is how I imagine average D4 enjoyer.

At the end of the day people have different opinions and perspectives, which is totally fine.
~ However, please donāt give into those who down play your Enjoyment. Itās the same people who hate those who spend money on Skins (of Diablo 4). They just ā¦ Hate, and Push their opinions/beliefs on others.
That is absolutely disgusting. Sometimes I forget how terrible people can be to one another when it comes to different interest.

I am for sure the average D4 āenjoyerā. Most players posting here in the forum are certainly more demanding but are they the main target audience for the game?
I have probably spent more than 1000h in the game since release. The story is probably 30h long. It is not a deal if the main story was average at best and the shorter VoH story is bad.
Same here. The expansion did just not have the features that a good APRG should be offering. So it was a very easy call for me.
Havnāt bought the EA for POE 2 yet. Will see how the launch will go and how packed the servers will be. Iām a patience guy anyway

Iām not going to defend or hate on anyone or anything.
I judge the game on what it is and if there are players defending a 1.000.000 times stronger class on VOH launch - or unstable servers, bugs and downtime on launch - thatās their right.
But just donāt act like defending any of this can be good for gaming in general. Thatās where I draw the line. A person defending these issues as āgood gameā simply can not be taken seriously.
ALL Gamers should be expecting certain minimum standards. And those standards should even be abit higher for a multibillion dollar corporation with 9000 employees in the credit list of their game.

Just cause (Iāll use myself because I can Talk For Myself) I like the game as is (No, itās not perfect, no game is), then thatās my interest, itās my money, itās my time, and itās My pleasure.
If you have a problem with that, then that is a problem that you have to deal with, not mines. After all, if I donāt like anything, I donāt have to play it. But Iāll continue to play it, and Iāll continue to defend it IF I feel itās needed when it comes to another persons Opinion of the matter.
Iām not saying donāt Judge this game in this THREAD, Iām saying Donāt Judge/hate the person for Enjoying the game. Hating (or) strongly disliking/discouraging another persons fun/interest. Who the hell does that?
