Like i don’t get it, i just think these people aren’t actually ssf and are just mad the game is trying to make them make friends.

You arent a ssf player.You have been pushing for raids since the beginning. So stop pretending you are ssf when in reality you are an mmo player.

As of now it is locking re temper scrolls behind that event, but if they fix that there shouldn’t be an issue

If someone is actually “solo self found” they don’t trade. If you actually want to play the game in a pure SSF way then these co-op dungeons contain stuff you’ll never be able to get.
I grant that SSF isn’t a real game mode Blizz made or anything and the general direction of D4 seems to be almost polar opposite of it. It is what it is. Nothing lasts forever.

They never said those scrolls only come from there. I bet they come from the new solo content undercity as well.
I’ll never understand the people that only want to play alone, yet play an only online game. There’s tens of thousands of single player games out there, you could just go play one of those if you’re so anti-social.
I knew from pre-season that D4 was going to be a MMO-lite ARPG. If you couldn’t pick up on the signs, that’s on you.

Yea people are making a lot of assumptions, not going to jump to conclusions just yet. This does seem likely, but would mean people that are willing to group up would get atleast 2 temper resets per wk vs a solo player’s 1…which someone will undoubtedly complain about.
They did in today’s video, along with other cosmetics, but yes if it’s in the other mode and they mis spoke that’s great
I heard them say it exists. I didn’t hear them say only from that dungeon. I mean I could be wrong but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt here. I don’t think they’d be stupid enough to lock something like that through only a group mode.
The new Undercity mode is solo and you can do things to influence rewards in there so my bet is you can get it there too.
It wouldn’t surprise me, they been pushing away from solo play, to many incentives to grouping already
I agree with the other posts here that OP is trolling.
But what you’re saying is just nonsense. Most big studio games are always online regardless of whether they are single player or multi player.
D3 even being always online was completely sequestered unless you actively added people to your party or joined theirs.
There is some weight on the user to know what they are getting into but nothing about the history of this series or the launch state of D4 indicated that content would require groups.
Balanced for a group is not the same as literally requiring a group. All we were really told about ahead of time is that we could “join up to fight world bosses.” And it was pretty evident since then that nothing they drop is exclusive to them nor is a group 100% necessary, except maybe just recently. Now blizzard says this content requires a group.
This is not what was advertised a year ago. People have a right to be upset.

? I never once seen them advertise that this was a game to be played solo… They shouldn’t gate keep items to groups imo but it was never promised that this game would be solo

People you play games with and only interact with online in games aren’t friends. I don’t want to play with random people I’ll keep my friends on the real world where I can go ha e dinner and drinks with and actually be part of their lives.

I became real close friends with most people in my EverQuest guild, we do yearly meet ups and play other games together, I wouldn’t say it doesn’t do that

What “Solo” game has an open world? All he said was that this game has has MMO-lite features since before launch. There has never been an advertisement that ALL content would be accessible solo and actually a lot of advertisement pushed playing with others.
Yea that’s why I put the only interact with online qualifier. I used to meet up with people I played wow with at blizzcon and stuff like that too. But they were never as close as the people I could go hang with on a Friday night without booking airline tickets.
