I want to play blizzard sorc FOR ONCE. This garbage build and spend system and and undertuning of most skills is not good. Is it a little OP? MACE TO THE FACE. What a great way to handle things
Prove me wrong on this claim.
No u must play broken op build because op is fun please donât nerf fun but at the same time game is too easy so difficulty must raise then you need to play op build even more.
~ Some players logic apparently and it goes back to D2 days of 50% players playing same build every season.
Just donât compete.
I donât.
I never have.
I enjoy seeing how far I can take myself given my own restraints and restrictions.
I know itâs tempting but the first rule is just donât look at the meta. Donât watch the videos, the streams, or even hang out on the build forums unless you have targeted specific questions.
I donât understand your sentenceâtheir are meaningful words peppered in, the organization isnât there.
I need a proof. Build a case that I am wrong.
You can. No one is stopping you.
I rolled an SB at launch . Hit pit 140ish and decided this class is unfun mechanics wise
Rolled a necro because theyâre objectively more fun in my opinion. Barely clearing 100s.
Fortunately thereâs tons of SB soy boys to carry me through fast 100 clears for my glyphs.
The reality is unless youâre pushing pits then any class is playable and the narrative that people are being âkickedâ for not being SB only applies to high pit run groups.
There are so many odd statemtens about this situation. So much sugarcoating of people in favor of the game. Why?
This game has âHORRENDOUSâ balancing issues.
The argument that everything unlocks on Tier 1 is weak. Arpgs are there so people can test âTheirâ creations against the game. In D4 that is barely possible. Yes you can build a homebrew build, bu when you know that it will underperform just cause âblizzardâ makes certain skills incredible strong and others not, it makes the whole âbuildâ your char concept dumb as âŚ
Honestly. Itâs like you ask people to play a board game and the higher the number on a dice the better. There are 10 different dices. from 1-3 to 1-6 to 1to20 or 1 to 100.
Do you realy have a choice here? What choice exactly. To intentionaly pick a bad dice? Is that realy a choice in a game where you wanna test yourself against odds.
No itâs not. No one who wants to âbeatâ the game will feel like he has a choice here. This play sks. End of debating.
A healthy balancing is not only important for PvP, not only important for leaderboards, its the beating heart of any âBuildingâ mechanic.
You cannot ask people to enjoy âbadâ builds just cause blizzard is to Dum to fix it. In over 1.5 years.
then make your own build. posting here about it wont make a bit of difference and frankly we dont give a fk

I care about what s/he said:
This game has âHORRENDOUSâ balancing issues.
First of all, you look like a very sad psychopath continually replying to yourself trying to goad others to respond.
Sorry, buddy, if you look at what youâre asking, the burden of proof is on you. All you need is one certifiable example that you are right, whereas the opposition would have to prove it for every single player.
No one wants to respond because what youâre asking is some clown psycho nonsense.
First of all, you look like a very sad psychopath continually replying to yourself trying to goad others to respond.
I donât know about psychopathâbut you are hallucinating, or making things up. How would I respond to myself, the blizz board app doesnât allow thisâŚ?
Now youâre getting it. I was about to tell you guys that this is all about money. They INTENTIONALLY leave some broken interactions and leak them to the streamers because they are PARTNERED with them. Wake up and smell the dollar signs kids.
Phoenix, that is a reasonable explanation. In addition, I know with increasing certainty that the anti-Christ has been weaving his/her plans into computer games, primarily Diablo.

The point of playing a game is to enjoy yourself. If youâre stressing by playing your games in comparison to others thatâs a miserable existence. There will always be someone wealthier, with more friends and connections, who has an incentive to be first other than you so if your builds have to compete against those people youâre never going to enjoy the game.
Honestly. Itâs like you ask people to play a board game and the higher the number on a dice the better. There are 10 different dices. from 1-3 to 1-6 to 1to20 or 1 to 100. I think the analogy is missing a piece. The max points you can get from a roll is 10. So choosing 1-3 or 1-6 etc., anything less than 10, is definitely a bad play, 10 itself is a fair play, and 100 is overkill but an option. But the reason why we have to set that max limit in this analogy is because that is the game. If you make it to torment 4 with a wonky awkward werewolf rabies build youâve beaten the game just the same as a Spiritborn 400 resolve stack Harambe build.
I mean I understand the frustration but I also learned to let that go years ago way back in the day because being miserable and arguing that your fun is suboptimal and spreadsheet inefficient is just crucifying yourself. No one knows that you run weird werewolf build but you really and certainly no one cares. If your goal is to have max GAs on healing received, go for it.
A healthy balancing is not only important for PvP, not only important for leaderboards, its the beating heart of any âBuildingâ mechanic.
On the point of leaderboards most modern leaderboards are stacked by class because thereâs always a discrepancy. Even if you had a perfectly balanced game something always works slightly better somewhere else unless you have a true everyman (classless) game.
You cannot ask people to enjoy âbadâ builds just cause blizzard is to Dum to fix it. In over 1.5 years.
And to this, I say, I am not asking you to revel in the power difference. I am asking instead that you put your fun, your enjoyment, the thing that you want to do first, before anything else. I mean I get it, some people cannot be happy unless they are the best, and if that is you then your rage is well placed.
Currently only 1 if at most 2 builds per class aside from spiritborns can do pit 110 on other classes.
So this is a game problem. If we canât max our glyphs without using a broken build or OP build then there is a problem.
You could do just about anything you wanted to for GR pushing in D3 and you can run almost anything so long as stats line up in D2.
So I donât want to hear that crap from you. You definitely should know better playing these games as long as the rest of us.
If every build can defeat all content we are either going to have the easiest game ever, or the most over powered classes ever, and quite honestly Id rather play a difficult game with challenges vs some cake walk Hello Kitty participation trophy game.
I will admit balance is severely lacking this season, but to EZ Mode every class and build is even worse.
Make or break is S7. They can either tone down the SBs and make a challenging game, or the can go full Tropic Thunder and make another d3 casual clicker
Sounds like you want a simple game where you can beat all content easily no matter your class or build. Sounds pretty weak, d3 is like that, whole game is a giant participation trophy at best.
While I will admit SBs are stupid OP, Im looking forward to them being nerfed VS EZ Moding the rest of the classes.
Yes you have a choice, play what every you want. I am and zero tears flowing, just enjoying some difficult content for once
Season6 observations.
- Bugs are the real mythic items.
- The above forces people into the same metas.
- Off-meta or playing anything but spiritborn is basically Tortment 16 instead of torment 4 and it feels really awful.
- Non-GA legendaries are just litter. Worthless. The new yellows.
- 1 GA+ items are way way WAY WAY too rare since they are the new minimally viable item.
- Unless you put in career-level hours into this game youâll never see paragon 300 in a season. Massive boost to xp needed after 240 or so.
- Running pits as anything but spiritborn makes me hate the new glyph leveling system. 40+ pit levels above glyph level for full points needs to be nerfed to 20+ for full glyph leveling points.
- More but Iâm done typing.
I agree. I love the theory crafting etc. I can always get myself to pit 120ish, but always end up needing to copy a meta build to go beyond that.
Itâs a big turnoff to see all of the clones. If you examine almost any spiritborn post paragon 200, they ALL have the exact same gear, aspects, masterworking, etc.
