Blizzard does not evaluate third party software and approve/reject it. Everyone is expected to follow the game rules. There are lots of built in accessibility options, including key mapping and controller support.

If you use a macro to automate cast sequences or anything else, you can be banned. It does not matter WHY you do it, you still can’t do it.

This thread may be relevant to you and has some good suggestions like foot pedals that you can map keys to.

Medical condition need answer from blizzard staff

hi there not sure were to post that. i have a question about a medical condition and the use of a mouse macro to be able to play the game whitout pain or just play beacause no one would play if its painful.i legit have a tear of the tfcc nerve in the wrist. i cant move my arm before my wrist surgery and probably 6month after.question : can i get ban ? and why would i get ban.

You might have to provide a doctor’s note/reference or something to prove your disability.

No. Blizzard does not allow people to break the game rules, regardless of why.

Any automation of gameplay outside of the features already built into the game by Blizzard, can get your account banned.

Blizzard does not care WHY someone does it. All they care is that the account was violating the rules.

Do not use any software or hardware to automate gameplay. Not keyboard macros, not mouse macros, not Autohotkey. Nothing.

Use the accessibility and keybinding options available in game if you want to avoid being penalized. Several people have great suggestions in the thread for control options that might help.

You will not get an answer from Blizzard. They will point you to the EULA and policies. Those very clearly state you can’t automate game in any way with hardware or software.
