The 2H Staff is optimal, mainly for the CSD. It lacks Attack Speed, but you can make up for that with gear and skills plus it doesn’t overburden your mana pool (prior to obtaining mid-to-endgame gear). My S5 Forb/LS Sorc had 90%+ CSC with over 2k CSD using a 2H Staff: it was a Triple GA to Int, Life and CSD, Tempered to CSD and Masterworked fully on CSD (unicorn drop plus I got so lucky on tempering/masterworking). I bricked the same Triple 2H Staff in S4, sadly. Cheers.

Need some experiment but i do a better output dps since patch. Seems hydra have better dmg and seems familiar count now with conju increment.
Need confirmation from other but clearly a little up.
I have not pushed far enough. No runes and crappy weapons, pit 64. I am sure I can easily go higher if I try.

Almost have all recommended items 12/12 with some mythics.
Recommended build skills and enchantments, recommended build items, almost all of them are uniques and mythics.

Unlocked all recommended paragon boards with lvl 100 glyphs, unlocked all rare and magic nodes for damage incresase.
And Why still low damage someone pls explain me. What is the reason for this? im just stuck can not improve char yet still cant play pit. Maybe i am lucky to olay in Torment 4 with sorc ha?
Almost at end game, i can not improve char much more from here, i am limited to insufficent trash Sorcerer uniques and mythics.
Damage is also very variable. Min 3-4M up to Max 900M. Average 100M. Why? Why is it so low and so variable? Ofc İTS not enough for pıt 95+.
And still class is unable to clear only pit lvl 100 , almost no damage to mobs.
Just fix it or just delete it from game if you,dear blizzard, have problems with that class. This is super annoying compared to imba-born Spiritborn unbalance.
Spirit hitting 200B damage. Why?
%80 of S6 players are spirit. This also caused for sorc item prices to make pik because there are few sorcer players to get sorc items from bosses.
Trade is completely broken also.
Game needs radical balancing fixes sorry. Stop making Any class Uber strong and popular seasonally. Just balance them so every player can enjoy game in Any season.
playing sorc in this game is just a waste of time.
low damage, low endurance, low Hp despite the aforementioned. it’s a total disaster.
Sorcerer or mage or wizard what ever you say, are all my fav. Classes in arpg games. i strongly believe that blizzard created imba spirit born and nerfed other classes for one reason. To sell content of spiritborn and make money. its obvious.
But sorry i dont like playing melee classes what can i do? i like fireballs and ice novas, aether rays and lightning storms.
Maybe i should play another game instead of paying for spirit born.
Just demanding a class balance and devs do not want to hear it, this is really frustrating and annoying.
i dont like melee classes warriors or paladins sorry. Maybe only assasin i play.
Mages should be like mages with lots if aoe dmg, tanks should be like tanks with armour and life, rogues should be like rogues with single target att speed and crit chance… You can not give all the + specs to one class and name it spiritborn.
Classes should need each other in specific dungeons in some game areas imo. Maybe wrong game for me. i will try poe2 once again i guess.
Sounds more you prefer mmo like World of Warcraft. However I still have hope that they get the balance of the Sorc right for S7.
After trying the PTR…not gonna happen.

Tried both of the new Unique’s and they are fun to play, but really need some buff’s to be viable after pit75-80. I leaned into crackling energy and esadoras cameo.
Electrocute resulted in a DPS loss overall. (Mind you all of my glyphs are 100)
I’m not concerned with the loss of burning. If its going to lean into full shock, then the glyphs associated with it needs to be buffed because the current glyphs just don’t scale well with either new unique.

Why do you hate sorc class ? Was it a problem in the past ? Lol. This is my first season in D4 and thats not my concern sorry. Why dont you critisize SB imbalance and be thankful to this uber imbalalnce? i paid for game and have right to play with any class i choose except SB. i paid for Necro,Sorc,Barb ,rogue etc. Ok, i dont want SB, i accept it. i dont even care if SB clears a Pıt 150 in 2min but i do care if Sorc can not do above 100 whatever player tries to do. Even 90s are hard enough for almost any sorc. This is not nerfing this is killing ppls joy and forcing them to play only with the Blizzard new meta. Are you paid by Blizzard ? They will probably do this again when they introduce a newer class. Selling New content is ok, making the new meta advantagous and strong for a time is ok but meanwhile killing non-buyers joy and forcing them to buy by manipulative ways, nerfing harshly is not. i dont know how old are you to be able to think of these but This is sthing different very different. More than just game unbalance for me.

Sorry. it must have been by mistake. Btw, after i see ptr for S7 changes, im leaving D4. i have really lost my interest in game in 1 season, at the beginning, thanks to Blizz team. i will try alternative ones. This game rules , (ultra nerf/ultra buff) according to profit , are unacceptable for me.
Making a balanced and solid game, for every class ,shouldnt have been so hard.
Sorc is the weakest class in s6 and still nerfs in S7

I would wait and see what happens at S7 before bailing on D4. Seasonal note changed previous seasons after the ptr. They just need to really increase our damage. Unfortunately this is an ongoing issue w/ the class. And just maybe hire someone who will fix this crap??
Not only that…they have to rework most uniques as they are becoming useless…
I believe that Mythic uniques shall not be on every buiild
