As the title say, I am curious to know how much it uses for you?
For me on High, I saw from like 7-8 GB to 10 GB RAM used, even 11 GB+, which … from my POV it seems pretty high.
On Medium Settings I saw from 5GB to 7 and even 8GB+.
How about yours?
Unreal5 recommends minimum 16GB.
I don’t understand what are you saying.
I am asking people to post their RAM use when they play D4.
highest ive seen is 42gb… on average 18-20gb
ddr5 5600
The ram usage is insane on this game, using over 11gb of my 12gb on VRAM. was using over 22gb of my 32gb system ram. That’s using max settings at 1440p.

Ok, so … it isn’t something “wrong” with my client or windows related. 10-11 GB for 1080p is…okish if you guys say it uses a lot more for you too.
Unreal 5 is a current game engine, and it recommends having a lot of resources.
I personally run 64gb of ram but haven’t looked at the D4 engine usage.
With new games comes higher requirements.
Literally nothing to do with what I asked.
Great …
Kinda!
using 3-4 gigs on medium textures, rest high quality.
3060ti
32g ram
I have everything on high with the high res assets installed. I’ve seen D4 use upwards of 9GB of System RAM and 20GB of VRAM.
19GB - 1440
Everything turned on High/Max. DLSS to Quality.
There is nothing more useless than a free (cheap) RAM in the situation you’re running an app that could benefit from using it. Yet there aren’t too many games that would use more than 16GB in fact. A very funny thing.
maxxed out graphics here, 4k res. 3080 with ddr4 3200clock speed. 25 gigs ram on average. getting 100 fps average frame rate. game looks beautiful

64GB System RAM max settings, 44GB RAM 20GB PROCESS RAM 57GB VIRTUAL MEM. Standing in Kyovashad.
On my system with 32GB RAM D4 uses 20-24GB and crashes with out of memory errors all the time…

So for my …16 GB of RAM, it seems having 10 GB “eated” is alright.
For me it also start freezing big time after like … 30 mins or so, like few, several seconds, and then at some point, blue screen.
Oh well, hope they will fix it soon!
On high settings my pc used up 13/16 ram and 7/8 vram on card. 1440p 144fps locked. Some fps drops and i noticed inconsistent gpu usage.
I don’t understand why this game needs so much to run at peak.
I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 10GB Video Ram with 8 GB system ram. And at max settings the GUI doesn’t load right, like half in half gone but the game looks great and frame rate seems ok.
Looks like it’s time for 64GB RAM to be the new standard.
