are back playing Live again? What drives you to do this?
I’m trying to figure out why I have no motivation to do this.
You’re hardly alone! I think motivation for playing more before S6 is down throughout the player base, but I’ve got sparks to collect before all my gear goes to crap in 2.0. I’m also trying to get this HC char leveled just to break up the monotony a bit. ![]()
That’s a good idea actually I could give HC a try from now till s6. Just playing it slowly.
My only motivation now is to find a mythic unique. I just want to feel how powerful it is.
I didn’t go back, but I was done with S5 when I finished the Battle Pass.
Even then, I still dipped my toe into Sorc just to see the OP hype.
Most arpg players are done with a season after a month
Ill play Live again, just to test some stuff. But yes, this season is pretty much over.
This is why I’m against artificially prolonging the endgame. People will just lose interest at one point. Even if they get a full ancestral gear, it most likely will not have the stats they want with the system that was in PTR, leaving them frustrated faster.
I always say “I am done with Sorc”…but curiosity always gets the better of me.
On the last day of the PTR I threw a familiar build together on the fly and with Fractured Winterglass it is crazy.
I just picked the boards I might need quickly I think I can get more damage out of this in the long run if I re-tweak it some.
Didn’t they say they wanted less clutter? This went past where my 2 druids stopped.
So the class definitely feels stronger than Druid…
I’m still betting they remove the Conjuration cast from Winterglass before S6. We definitely haven’t seen the final patch.
I would hope they just cap it. Like the total of how many can be up at one point.
They might, but with how many casts you get of FO, it’s still far too strong. Cast FO, get a free FO, a free Conjuration, and then the Conjuration casts more FO.
PLUS - Familiars are bonkers crazy on PTR, and they’re also Conjurations.
Oh I know that is why I built this out. ![]()
Just based on the descriptions.
Didn’t play ptr, but am finished with the season anyway
Played 1 character
Found shako, spear and starless before hitting 100
Got to 100
Finally found the last helltide commander to 100% the season
Masterworked 2 items to 4 and 1 to 8
Didn’t manage to get all my gems to royal and still have a few tempers that don’t suit my build (?bricks?)
But really that’s all there is, so it’s gg
I’m using the time to try out some builds I’ve never played before - quite enjoying my self actually
They got PTR for Diablo 3 next week. Login! lol ![]()
What an amazing system!
some users mention this. id say every season has its end, depending on how much you play - for me its usually a month, maybe a little more, after the season started.
Also, lets not forget, time is limited and other games are available as well ^^
i played the ptr not too much, id say, 10 hours? reported some bugs and left.
currently catching up with dragon quest until VoH releases ^^
You don’t HAVE to have a motivation to do it. Why ask other people? They aren’t you and you aren’t them.
Everyone is Different, have different opinions/believes and Play styles, some may be bored and have nothing to do so they may go to D 4 because it entertains them enough.
So if your tired of D 4 then Don’t play D 4, play something else, and let those who continue to play D 4 alone.
Not going Against you what so ever *btw
It’s just that different people have different motivations to do it regardless of how another feels.
I’m not sure if your being sarcastic or not but it actually is cause arpg games tend to not overlap season starts with other games season start allowing you to bounce between games without missing anything
I played PTR and had already been finished up with S5. Thus, done until VoH drops. PTR had no impact on me, but I can see why it would if I were still going.
