He killed Belial 3500 times (Loot Drop Statistics)

4 x Greater Affix only 20 times. It’s hard…

As one of the very few holders of a 4GA mythic (Spear of Lycander), I approve this message.

Seriously, the boss farm system needs some work. Less boss materials dropping but more valuable loot from a boss fight might be the answer.

i did around 5000 of em. got 1 4A mythic.
i did get around 40 or so 4GA of the unique ones. only 3 of them was max rolled

So you’re saying a 4 GA is a little bit more obtainable to get than the Mythics (called Uber Uniques back then) of S0 and S1? Is that a bad thing? It’s about the only chase item in the game. That 4 GA isn’t going to push you that far in the Pits, maybe an extra Pit Tier if you’re lucky, doubtful it’ll even do that though.

Not when the avg boss fight lasts 3 nanoseconds. They can’t seem to fix that in a manner that players find acceptable.

Welcome to the club. I have one too. I am even proud to announce that I also have a 4 GA Andariel’s Visage.

I am still playing, farming Boss mats but not only. Since the start of the season, I probably managed to collect around 2.5 stacks of Husks. Didn’t get even get a single usable 2 GA Unique with them for my builds.
I had two 4 GA Uniques drops from the initiate Bosses. I am using one of them a Bastard Helm and I traded Runes for a 4 GA Blue Rose for my Sorc. My first ever trade since I started playing.

Players doing 3500 or 5000 Belial kills are not playing the same game as I do.

I think that’s the point, farming that much for an upgrade you probably won’t even notice isn’t that inticing, if they want to make super rare items they need to be of super rare quality, some real incentive to farm them just my opinion

The meta mythicals that have now remained dominant for several seasons are already very overpowered.

Whether or not one defines that as quality is subject to opinion, but in the overall power balance of the game they are extremely strong.

But they are considered common and build defining now, if you take that away there will be backlash, so imo the easiest would be to make a higher tier of items while also doing a real stat squish instead of a fake one. Just as an example as common as they are people still complain they are to rare

It is a shame that despite this being a seasonal game, we have so much difficulty into getting the right gear for our builds.

This is not surprising as season 6 was the basis of all the bullsh!it we are seeing.
it is a big shame that even in torment 4 you are still finding blue and yellow items.
the incompetence of the dev team thru seasons is shameful and needs to stop.

Farmed the whole season and I’ve never sheen a shako dropping so far!
Spent the whole season looking for the right amulet for one of my builds… never got it.

and these devs pretend and have the nerve to expect Us, players to waste money on season pass and skins? with this shameful dissaster???
NAH!!!

The stats at low levels are barely integers now. Level 1 boots is 1 Armor, level 2 is 2 armor. A level 3 chest is +2 max life. You can’t squish them much more.

You can change the scaling, you can eliminate entire modifiers (like the aforementioned mythics), you can do a number of other things….though all of those would be considered massive nerfs.

In principle I dont mind mythics being common. Mythic is just a name.
But nerf the ones that are too strong.

And if they added a more rare item type down the road; make sure they are not better than other items, just different, allowing weird ways to make builds viable and such.
Chase item is a matter of rarity, of offering something special. It does not have to offer more power.

Massive nerfs are massively needed imo

Which one is too strong?
tell me more…

Which we know from experience….massive nerfs = massive backlash.

I’m not disagreeing with most of your individual assumptions, mind you. However, they’ve tried most of these solutions to no avail. Getting the difficulty to reward ratio correct has not shown itself to be a simple thing to do in this game.

In theory I agree with that statement, but it doesn’t tend to play out that way in practice. Even in D2, with far more ultra rare items, the average top end build had very little differentiation from player to player.

While some liked to hunt every grail item, the mass majority still sought the most powerful, most convenient solutions.

Really? This is the ring of my dreams. X’Fal Signet with 4 x Greater Affix as well :sunglasses:.

I have one of those! I’m trying to sell for 13 Billion Gold. :smiling_imp:

On another note, certain items in Diablo 2 is far worst then any of what this date is saying. :man_shrugging:

When you play a broken Meta build, that happens. Any regular build, the game feels normal.

The difference isn’t in time, it’s in what Torment level you had it set to.
