world bosses - one shot , - Unchanged. Prior to AoZ & ToB, this was the case.
Uber bosses one shot . Unchanged. (see above)
pvp - one shot. Unchanged. (see above)

ToB Glyph has not caused any of this nor will it exacerbate it because it’s purely relative once everyone has one.

The power creep of this glyph just to release the insanely scaled dungeons was a bad move by blizzard for sure.

You realize its not really power creap because it disappears in a month and it has no effect outside of AoZ right? Everything is already a 1 shot?

Yes by power creep it replaces 1 of your older glyphs but at the same time your not doing nm to lv said glyph.

IT does have an effect-people dont want to Go back to normal damage Numbers after getting used to Big Numbers again…and the whole Patch 1.2 damage changes we’re Put in place to keep Numbers in Check…so again No Vision, Just reactionary nonesense… makes further balancing even more Problematic, cause people dont Like loosing Power…Bad decision…No glyph but better Balanced Aoz wouldve been better and more valid Data to use for further balancing…AS WE all know These Clowns are stupidly Bad at Math…10 Out of 10 they will mess Up again

Everyone is ready to start over in 6 weeks. If AoZ doesnt exist the glyph doesnt exist but yet everything still gets 1 shot the glyph is meaningless.

It will be interesting to see what they do next season for seasonal powers. I think thats what people will focus on. I much say I quite enjoy the AOE blood attack based on life, esp in HT lol

Hilariously, Tears of Blood doesn’t seem to work at all with my Companions on druid when I tried testing it a minute ago…

It’s one of the weakest builds in the game already

The balance is fiiine.

Well, the balance inside of Zir on my Stormclaw druid specifically at AoZ 7 or so is fine at least?

Being it temporary it doesn’t mean is not power creep, the season powers let’s be honest are power creep but some of it is needed to bait players into playing season and things like metamorphosis and the cooldown reduction for the ultimate are very nice addition because the default evade is TRASH (fat rolling in Dark Souls feels better than default evade in D4) and not getting crowd controlled and having good uptime on your ultimate because on ARPGs waiting for 30s to a skill to come back up feels bad. It also fixed some builds that can’t easily apply vulnerable. The glyph is raw power creep.

Does this actually still happen to people since the massive nerf to CC. I think ive been CC 2x since the nerf and both times it was my fault.

But the glyph outside of AoZ does nothing necause everything is already 1 shot. If they were looking to have actual combat in the game they would have not nerfed monsters with the rebalancing vul/crit cap.

Aoz aint a Bad Idea…but the glyph wasnt needed… scalling oriented at existing damage Potentials and we get the Same…again…people Like Big Numbers, people get used to Big Numbers…If they start over in s3 and muss the 2.5-3.5 damage multipliyer tob gives they will cry Out loud again…U r right glyph IS meaningless, but peoples memories are Not…blizzard keeps on creating more and more Potential Problems by Being visionless and reactionary…

I’m a supporter of pvp and it was certainly playable to a certain extent for me. Now it’s missing the point. It reminds me of pvp from D3, whoever gives the first shot wins. it is true that the bosses were already one shot. but with this they drove everyone into blood tiers and not everyone wants to play a timed game. and it was written that the glyph will remain even after season 2, so the game will lose its meaning for the endgame.

I’m not sure you haven’t noticed, but everything was being one shot it before the update. The only difference now is instead of seeing 10 million damage, like might see something like 50 million or billions or several quadrillion.

Remeber when ppl QQ about having hard end game content with more gamplay and people QQ about not having D3 GR… bliz literally gave them what they wanted.

If I had enough time in the day maybe Id grind out the glyph but if someone else has more time on there hands than they will get further than me and thats ok. AoZ isnt deaigned for everyone past lv10 (post nerf). Everyone should be able to participate somewhat in lower tiers. If someone cant do T1 now but can do nm 90 they are just bad at the game.

My Eternal characters have the glyph but it’s Locked. Plus I can’t craft Blood Sigils either. So there’s that.

Well that’s the AoZ - not the ToB driving them into that content.
I think that people who play enough to have PVP as part of their routine welcomed some challenging PVE content for once.

D2 and D4 PVP are more similar.
D3 is just …idk what to call it.
What this game could use is “Communities”(shocking idea!) - Imagine being part of a PVP community and somehow being able to meet up on a server shard without jumping through party hoops to get in the same instance…
How clunky everything is atm. (Edit: I know people who run/ran/tried to host PVP Tournaments. When they told me what it took to get X people together I couldn’t help but feel a bit bad. It’s convoluted.)
If you/we had a community - All could meet up, run team based pvp, Solo/Team tourneys, set rules(no ToB, Item Power restrictions, Paragon board restrictions - eg. 4-5 Boards only, King of the Hill, FFA etc etc) just as an example.

I love D4 gameplay and think (real)PVP could be awesome.
By telling Players they’re not going to/don’t care to balance it in any way - basically says they don’t care about pvp at all.
It’s just another random zone.

Dude get over IT…the topic aint about Bad Players the topic IS blizz creating further Problems for themselfs by doing dumb balancing…i am talking Psychologie Not in Game effects…personally i dont give a damn about this glyph…but IT will cause Problems…Mark my words

so what did the glyph change about that ?
like that was the case before the glyph to

Ok, well let everyone know when the entire game outside of aoz isnt 1 shot.

The aoz glyph maybe raw stats but S1 barber was also OP
