D4 isn’t it: Summoner necro got ZERO buffs worth anything and it’s an F tier build. Like bottom of the barrel garbage on maxroll. I’d have better luck playing full basic attack build with no passives than summoner necro.

I want to play as a guy with an army of the dead. I don’t think this genre isn’t for me.
Power drops like a rock in T4. Tried multiple versions of the minion build. The only viable ones are when you use the minion as resource generation and nothing more. Not really a minion build then.
Ouch. Had the same thing happen with Druid wolves moving from WT2 to WT3. They were great meat shields and aggro magnets under level 50, but once I got to WT3, had to drop them and retool a bit as they died way too fast.
If it is an itch you can’t scratch in D4, give Path of Exile (PoE) a try, it has strong summoner builds! (despite many, many nerfs). Minion builds mare far more powerful in PoE than they are in the current state of D4.
P.S. I was hoping D4 would be my main game, but my enthusiasm for D4 is losing steam:
no end game, only a post campaign – I really miss the group coordination, but not the rampant botting, in D3
D4 crashing 50+ times in a day
Massive, massive list of issues that I don’t see being addressed in any meaningful time frame, etc
Cut the guy some slack, it really sucks not being able to play a staple build in nearly every ARPG except this one. I wanted to play a minion build as well, but had to adapt, but I can see why the guy is upset
Guardian is meta for skele mage in POE. Necro hasn’t been meta for a lot of minion builds in POE since like 3.19 when they removed the +2 minions ascendancy. It’s also meta for dominating blow, absolution, and purity.
Jugg is meta for reaper.
Any class can play SRS. Ben played champ SRS to win the 3.20 gauntlet.
If arpgs are what you enjoy spending your time playing, it sure is worth it. Especially if you spend massive amounts of time playing for whatever reason. Sounds like you don’t play enough to have an informed opinion, imho.
It absolutely isn’t. Even IF what you’re posting 99 times were meaningful (it isn’t) AND the devs actually read it/cared/didn’t realize it already (they don’t…) you STILL wouldn’t need to make 99 posts about the same thing…
Stalking a player’s comments to compile them, for what exactly?
To prove something to yourself? Wouldn’t it be easier to ignore a poster you clearly do not like? Or do you need to compile all their posts for some sort of personal gratification?
