This is still happening as of 1/25/2025.
Health and resource bars and skills will show but the rest of the screen is black. The only inputs that function are escape => exit Diablo4. This happens more than half the time when taking a portal to town. My portal is to Tree of Whispers.
This is extra infuriating since for some insane reason buffs are cleared on every logout, so every time it happens I lose my Elixirs and Incense, including the Drought of Whispers.
