Hi, the game keeps crashing itself and restarting my pc. Checked the temperatures everything is fine. It is not overheating! Got the last driver - Nvidia rtx 3070 Ti. CPU i9 intel 13900k. Can’t play the game.
Yeah I get a blue screen whenever I try to port anywhere in the open world
Same. Happened twice now in VoH. Never happened before on this machine. Game crashes and it restarts my PC. Porting and mounting up seem to be able to trigger it, for me.
met blue screen just now, never had such issue for years before
Crash happened after 15 min afk in dungeon, when i came back as tried to continue
win 10, 9900k, rtx 4070, 16gb ram. Game made me install new nvidia drivers also
Same here, crashed three times in 4 hours. The screen turns black and the computer restarts after a while. All Updates and drivers are up to date.
WIN11, RTX 3060 Ti, 64gb RAM
I can’t even make a toon lol just crashing over and over
I’m having the same issue. I was playing fine but when I was in the open world and attempted to port back to town it crashed my computer and forced restart of the computer. I logged back in and ported to town and was able to make it to town but after about 10 seconds it crashed again. I have a windows update and will attempt to update that to see if that helps.
Was getting a BSOD too, but I remembered some older issues D4 had and removed the high-quality assets along with disabling DLSS. So far I’ve been playing for a few hours and it seems to have stopped the problem. Running i7-12700f, 32 gb ram and rtx 4070ti if that matters.
Yep. Same here. Twice now in Flayer Jungle, game lags, boom black screen, into restart. Now it says my character is not finished saving.
Same problem, Played for over an hour and now I have constant crashing. No blue screens but dumps were created.

Edit –
So far, no more crashing after downgrading from 565.90 to 561.09. RTX 2080 Ti, Win11, 13950HX.
same issue here

Every 30+ minutes for me and the game crashes, never had an issue with the game crashing before till this patch
Same crashes 5-15 minutes in game. Didn’t happen in previous season. Tried updating drivers, turning settings to lowest, verifying game files.
5900x/4080FE/64GB RAM/Win11
check your RTX settings. My game would crash upon opening and I found RTX turned on. Turned it off and all is well.
I’ve encountered the same issue: the game freezes, and an error message (Fenris) appears on a white screen with the following code: CD73DD8E-CDA9-4C22-A741-8EBE6B617C5A.
Out of the ten errors I’ve experienced, one resulted in a blue screen, while the others simply closed the game, forcing me to reopen it.
i5 13600KF / RTX 4070 SUPER (driver version 565.90).
Same issue here. I can get logged in and as soon as I get close to going from town to the open world my entire PC shuts down and restarts. I’ve never had this kind of issue with this game or anything else.
UPDATE…So after reviewing my Graphics settings again, I think I found the culprit. Under the last header, “Ray Tracing”, I already had “Ray Traced Shadows Quality” set to OFF and “Ray Traced Particles” set to OFF, however “Ray Traced Reflections Quality” was ON. I turned this option OFF as well (so all 3 Ray Tracing settings OFF) and I am no longer crashing as the same exact spot. I will do my best to provide another update here shortly.
i am having the same issue where game is crashing alot when in town it is worst but some quests where it has multiple stages it crashes as well i have checked everything i have repaired game file and updated drivers. ray tracying settings are all off and rtx is offhope i can find a fix
UPDATE #2:…Well after 33 minutes of playing with no issue, I TP’d to Kyovashad to empty my inventory. After being in town for around 20 seconds or so my pc went black and restarted like it was earlier.
Check your graphics driver. I was having a similar issue an hour ago, my graphics driver was four months out of date and for some reason wasn’t getting automatic updates anymore. It stopped crashing after the updated.
