+1 here. Quest appears to bug after the group leaders speech and the quest updates to the next stage “clear the cannibal feeding ground”.

This worked for me also, initiated the chat with the leader and ran to and hugged the gate. Then they finally moved and i could finis the quest.

Same issue here, none of the suggestions in this thread worked for me.

For me it worked this way:

  1. drop quest
  2. go character screen and log back in
  3. do the event outside
  4. accept quest
  5. talk to npc in cave and run to the gate. stand in front of it till the npc follow you

abandon the quest then pick it back up it worked for me

This is still bugged, NPCs won’t follow into the main room of the mini-dungeon

Same issue. I did the event outside, crashed the gate, killed everyone, but NPC are stuck, not moving after their little speech and I can’t progress.

Potential Fix (at least this worked for me):

Speak to Ealda > Leave the cave > Clear the event > Relog > Enter Cave > Speak to Ealda again.

This worked for me, hopefully it can help some of you guys suffering with the same problem.

tried every fix here, none of them worked. wasted 40 minutes doing this.

just do a different quest instead of spending time on this

‘1. drop quest’

This actually solved it for me. I didn’t log out, i didn’t do the event outside.

I just dropped the quest, picked it up again, went into the cave and it all worked.

Still bugged for me. I have tried every fix multiple times.

This time, after dropping the quest, logging out and then logging back in, the quest no longer even appears for me to pick back up.
