Just today, game started freezing. My character is still able to move around but can’t interact and background is frozen. Started Thurs. morn. There a Battle.net update this evening when I got up but it did nothing tp help (don’t know if it was even related).
Was kind of random this morning but now it’s pretty constant, like once every couple minutes.
The /flushdns corrected the problem, played for over an hour after that and no issues whatsoever. I did a /release and /renew after bit I had done a /release and /renew in the afternoon and that didn’t fix it so I think it was the /flushdns that solved it.
Just to clarify how to do this for anyone that doesn’t know how:
- You use the Windows key and R to open the Run command.
- Type in CMD and hit Enter.
- Then you should have a typical command prompt window.
- In here type in
ipconfig /flushdnsand press Enter. - Then type
exitand press enter.
Those are the steps to run this tool. This may work for those having various problems, including the disconnect on teleport. So its worth trying.
