i have three mythics and all the right gear legendary glyphs and i cant even farm torment four. kids have resorted to glitching the game with snapshotting making it tedious and disgruntling just to be playable. fix the god damn sorceress. it needs major buffs. we dont want to play a clunky fireball build. buff lightning snd end snapshots before i ask for a refund

You are the problem. T4 is not a problem for a sorc. Pits above 90 is.

Disagree. While Sorc can obliterate T4, it requires far more gear than a Necro, Barb, or Druid. The scaling issues becomes far more apparent at higher pit tiers, however.

LOL⌠thereâs a barb complaining theyâre having trouble clearing Pit 148 and Sorcerers are supposed to be happy with clearing Pit 90.
Since every 5 levels basically doubles the monster HP thatâs about 4000X more damage from a barb than what youâre calling a good sorcerer build.
Blizzard could give every sorcerer a 1000% damage boost and it wouldnât begin to address the class imbalance. Instead theyâll probably decide the Firebolt enchantment should provide an extra 2% healing for S8 because thatâs clearly whatâs wrong with the class.

seriously a thousand percent increase on lightning sorc still wouldnt put it at the same level as any other class. i currently fitted the number one dmg lightning ball top gear and not even close to single shotting elites in t4

Dude, sorc cleared T150, multiple sorcs. Should all builds be overpowered power creeps? I donât think so.
Sorc has got the fastest farmers in T4 of all builds in the game, not one but 4: Lightning spear, Meteor, Fireball, Chain Lightning. No Overpower or bugs required. OP being a manchild calling devs bastards doesnât help either. He should seek mental help first.
Every season I play Sorc and every season I have fun. (that is the reason of playing a game right)
If you are able to put in the hours like for 2 hours a day like I usually do, then you should be able to rush through T4 in about 3 to 4 weeks. (depending on your luck of finding good gear)
I always start the season with Arc Lash (personal choice because it is pretty tanky and fast) and when I reached level 60 I start to create a better build.
And never level up your medium gear to level 12 (max level 6 - 8) because it will take to much resources that you are gonna need later when finetuning your build.
This season I ended up with a ChainLighting build and I can rush through all content in T4 and can speedfarm Pit 100 in about 3-4 minutes.
So if you are putting in the hours but the result is not good then it seems there are some basic things that are not correct yet.
In order of how I get things done:

In parallel, level up your glyphs as high as you can with the current power level. (do max 3-4 minutes for a pit level or else it is not efficient)
Grind alot of dungeons to get the stones you need for doing pits and get obducite as well in the process to level up any good gear you find. -
Run some helltides and witch areaâs to gather more gear in general and items you need to use for upgrading gear.
Make sure that you can do this as fast as possible (so do it in a lower Tier) so you can rush through the content an be the most efficient as possible.
You will maybe not find the best gear or the most gear with GAâs in lower Tiers but it will give you all aspects you need while gathering angel breaths, forgotten souls etc. very fast.
And another thing, never sell any gear but always destroy it at the blacksmith. You are gonna need it to level up the better gear you will gonna find along the way and you will find enough gold along the way.
I would also recommend to look up some builds that are pretty strong and popular at the moment for this season to give you an idea of the goal you are working towards. (and make some adjustments to the existing build you wanna use to see what you like best)
Keep in mind that it could take quite some time to reach the goal you want but you are working hard to reach that goal so donât be impatient to much as long you have fun doing it.

Now, try the same with the shatwave necro. I can assure you, necro is going to be slower.
This info is not correct, please stop misinforming people.
All those sorcerer builds that âallegedlyâ cleared T150 made use of a Witchpower that Blizzard disabled the very next day after a certain streamer cried about it.
Since then there have been only 1 sorcerer build that cleared pit 150 and thatâs Lightning Spear, but on extremely conditional conditions (snapshotting). This doesnât count because itâs very conditional and you need to fish for a certain boss (more than other classes) in order to clear pit 150.
Clearing t4 is something that every class is capable off. But it is a fact that sorcerer needs more/better gear to even compete here while other classes can breeze through.

Nope, you are the misinformed one. There are sorcs clearing pit 150 after the patch fixed the witch power.
For Necro, there is only one build that can do pit150, shatwave.
For Barb, there is only one build that can do pit 150, hota quake.
For Druid, only cataclysm snapshot one can do it.
Do you see a pattern?
Sorc without overpower can do pit 120 no problem. Just visit helltides leaderboards.
The only complaint a sorcerer player can have is about the gear requirement to achieve the same feat as other builds but sorc has always been the tinkering class for advanced players.
If you are a console button masher who doesnât like to think much, quake barb or shatwave are for you.
Irrelevant. Apples and oranges. My point was sorc requires more gear to do it, not that it canât be done.

When sorc can do it, it is faster than anything else. Should barbs and necros complain here because they have to walk?

Click on sorcerer, then for every pit clear there is a youtube video as proof. Some of them share their builds. You can see their equipment in every video.
I watched Mekuna clear T150 the other day. Orange LS.

Thatâs a snapshot build. They are all bugged builds, whether using snapshot or Shatter + Greater Fireball. And they are still many times weaker than Druids, barbs, and Necros.

Hum⌠checking the site now and there are only 2 150 clears.
And the first clear that is not Lightning Spear (on patch 2.1.2) is a pit 136 with Fire Ball.
(The highest Incinerate is pit 100, I think I can beat that 
)

Look up the second p150 guy, heâs got his builds linked in maxroll. You can see his non overpower setup for pit 120. Rox chain lightning can also beat p120 but she isnât listed there.
The goto people on mobalytics for sorc are mekuna, lurkin and Rox.
