[Feedback] Hardcore PVP real death

Eliminate real death in HC pvp… BUT… make it sting.
-Create a system where if you kill someone in PVP, you collect something from them.
-Without this ‘something’, they cannot enter the pvp restricted area until the bounty/debt has been paid.
-This bounty/debt is non-negotiable… it is not at the owner’s discretion of release but can automatically be paid per the system.
-Perhaps something like a jailer system where you must pay X amount of gold/tribute to your captor before regaining access to the zone.
-This can all take place while the captor is offline, and the bounty/reward can be collected the same way your ‘missing legendary drops’ work from dungeons. It just shows up in the captor’s stash once paid.

Please allow this to be a thought, growth, into process. This is what will hold me back from playing hardcore.

Friendly Fire should also be considered. Perhaps in a clan, damage is ignored in or out of group… or at least significantly reduced. 1-shotting someone off-screen that turns out to be a friend/ally/clanmate in HC should not be a concern.

Hc is hc.

You can collect their tears, or shed your own.

It shouldn’t be hard core with exceptions. Defeats the purpose.

It’s hardcore…

Death = Death

That’s literally the point

Aren’t there certain mandatory item requirements that come exclusively from BloodTide / HC events or areas? I mean, if you cannot progress your character any further without risking even for one second, losing a character by overstepping a boundary by an inch etc… I understand if everyone is on the same plane or playing field, then it’s a balanced risk. What I don’t understand is, by summarizing it to “HC is HC, do or don’t die”, won’t that “kill” the HC community even more than it already is? Hmm. I am curious if people on the fence for HC feel the same way I do.

In my opinion HC = Death. No second chances. It was your decision to face other heroes of Sanctuary.
