Dswing barb hitting for over 1.5 - 2m

Cleared a nm 60 @lvl 84, ill need a few lvls to push higher i think

If you could just list your skills, aspects, and glyphs, it would help for a comparison.

Using Exploit/Undaunted/Marshal/wrath

For boards I went through Flawlesstechnique/decimator/bloodrage for all the + crit/+vuln dmg and berserk uptime, and going on my 5th soon.

Aspects, defensives are pretty much what youd expect aside that I added aspect of anemia for stun on bleed, and im using 50% atk speed (aspect of accelarating) in 1 two hander and
80% dmg on stun in the other (aspect of retribution).

Im also using Relentless berserker in boots for berserk uptime.

3 shouts, frenzy, and wotb?

1H Mace technique?

I do lunge, ds, death blow, steel grasp, wotb, and stomp.

Disembowel, exploit, wrath next, and only flawless and warbringer for now. Carnage next.

yeah, exactly. Only skill i think I could potentially swap out is wotb, got a good steel grasp Axe unique, will play around with it.

im using 2 handed mace expert. for fury gen.

I use the 1h sword for fury gen and attack speed. 30% speed is pretty fat.

Tryin to stay away from shouts. Just ran a 40 easy at lvl 79. No issues. I put Topaz on all armor slots.

Do you use the aspect that spreads your ccā€™s?

You got a build link? im wondering if something like this could be viable for lillith. Build up the stun meter and unleash. Not sure if it can compete with hota, im able to crit her for 14-20 million.

I finally got the aspect that increases dmg to cc immune mobs. This thing is awesome for double swing barb that is constantly stunning because the biggest weakness of it is when fighting things you canā€™t stun or you stun a few times and they immune for like 10 secs (or dungeon affix that makes. Donā€™t think it works on bosses, but it works on bone piles and things like that.

Def recommend trying it if you havenā€™t yet. Iā€™m lvl 82 and clearing nm 55 dungeons (no shouts). Looking forward to getting lvl 100!

Yeah, thats exactly my thinking, and its already what I do on bosses.

Im a bit ouscaled there, at a similar lvl my crits are starting to get close to a Million.

The only thing that could potentially explode my damage upwards is a good 0.3% ramaldinis and alot of + fury, which is the next paragon board im getting (one with fortify)

Basically building a budget Hota % on fury modifier for my dswing.

Exploiterā€™s aspect. Iā€™m running a perfect 50%. I thought it would apply to bosses, but apparently it doesnā€™t.

Dope on Unstoppable below 30% sigils though.

You should consider Death Blow. 100% vs bosses and another 200% with aspect on 2H after you dump fury. Fat hits. I use it for big fury gen too.

With Weapon Masterā€™s aspect, you get an extra charge of Death Blow and Steel Grasp, plus up to a 50% chance to stun with both. Grasp has 3 charges, stuns, pulls, applies vulnerable and berserk. It should apply bleed too, with 2h sword tech or Berserk Ripping, but it doesnā€™t.

True, axe throw would be better

What it should be is a throw on the legendary affix rather than the stupid tornado

Dust devils would be ok if they had some duration, damage, and didnā€™t immediately fly off the screen. What Double Swing really needs is some splash damage and a cool interaction/synergy with another skill.

Iā€™ve been experimenting with a low level build and i can definitely see a wotb db dswing oriented build in the future depending on how new stuff comes out like supporting aspects, potentially sets, and other stuff like a version of kanaiā€™s or horadrimā€™s cube
dswing being able to keep berserking on effectively permanently during combat is pretty nice, and with cc refunds+wotb ramping damage, i can definitely see huge wotb fury stacks in the future
the things that i think would supplement it the most is a function to get wotb CDR, attack speed, and a reliable way to speedrun boss stagger bars, which im not sure on atm
dblow also allows you to use weapon swapping mechanics too as well as have a hefty finishing hit for peskier mobs, or a cheap and reliable berserking trigger that you can use on low hp mobs to get rolling
the only thing it realistically suffers from is the same as 90h suffered in d3 until bastionā€™s revered was buffed:
abysmal aoe potential because dswing doesnā€™t have anything that alters itā€™s functionality to either splash, hit in a radius, or spread a heavy hitting bleed

it uh
just doesnā€™t have much killing power at super low levels either or supporting aspects in general from what i can tell
but using death blow is probably one of the most satisfying things in this game next to using shadow imbue to nuke enormous packs

So after fighting echo of lillith tonight, Iā€™m starting to have my doubts about double swing. Iā€™m using the frenzy, double swing, stomp, iron skin, chain grip and wrath of berserker set up.

The problem with double swing is it basically requires things to be stunned to do any serious damage. Now granted, Iā€™m lvl 83 fighting it and I know Iā€™m super underleveled. The ability to survive isnā€™t really the issue outside of the rock wave thing that one shots me if I donā€™t dodge it. I can easily tank her without using healing potions and I can destroy the blood bubble things in seconds (because they can be stunned).

The issue comes with doing dmg to lillith. With her having an extremely large stagger bar, most of the time Iā€™m only hitting for like 40k crits. When I do stagger her Iā€™m doing 350-400k crits on each hand. She has a ton of health and after fighting it for like 4-5 mins Iā€™m only doing about 8% of her hp.

In the last 8 levels or so my dmg hasnā€™t really gone up too much and I donā€™t know if I will see much dmg increase by the time I get 100. I see hota cheesing it targeting the ground making the legendary hit for millions (I play on console so that isnā€™t a thing) and of course other classes just blasting for millions melting her.

Iā€™ll keep going with double swing for the rest of the pre-season trying to hit level 100, but Iā€™m starting to have my doubts. :frowning:

Yeahā€¦idk how we can get consistent 5M+ hits with what we currently have available. Even the idea of max fury and Ramaladniā€™s wonā€™t let it scale that high. Death Blow can possibly get 5M+, but we canā€™t spam it.

Lillith isnā€™t considered Unstoppable until sheā€™s staggered, is she?

I thought about just swapping DS for Rend. Idk if thatā€™s any better given the current state of things?

I was thinking they should change double swing dust devils to druidā€™s hurricane (aoe around the caster.

It needs splash damage for AOE/clear, but it needs some major increases to the base damage and a fat multiplier to be a viable option for end game.

@Frankus - Butcherā€™s Cleaver is apparently amazing at staggering bosses, maybe try that?

I have experimented with it, and Ramaladinis is not worth it because the core stats are bad. You should get a 1h with +crit dmg/vul dmg instead. I use 2 maces, Walking arsenal passive, Aspect of luck bringer.
