Does the barb passive “Heavy Hitter” increase damage of the Ultimate “Wrath of the Berserker”?
I am unsure about that. Does anyone know? Has anyone tested it?
If it would not increase the damage of “Wrath of the Berserker” then this would contradict the description of Heavy Hitter and the passive would be totally useless when chosing “Wrath of the Berserker” as your ultimate. If this is the case, then Blizzard should fix this immediately!
BLIZZARD, PLEASE CHECK THIS AND FIX THIS ! ! !
I thought you quit?
Seems you’re still addicted, each Season!

I think that it does not buff the berserking damage on Wotb… could be wrong though?
Go to training grounds and check your damage while berserking buffed without heavy hitter vs points in heavy hitter.
Yes, as long as the skill cast was a critical hit and you have a 2H mace equiped at the same time, per the passive’s condition.
Can you let me know where in the skill tree does it say Heavy Hitter’s condition requires a 2H mace?
Just curious. Thanks.

Simple it is in the description “while using a Two-Handed weapons you deal ##%(x) increased critical strike damage”. Also, since I am assuming you are using earthquakes with Mantle of Mountains fury (which I may be wrong), you would need to use Hammer of the Ancients to proc the explosion of the earthquake. Therefore, the two handed weapon you would need to use would be a 2H mace.

That’s Heavy Handed… Heavy Hitter says “ultimate skills, earthquakes and dust devils deal X more damage”
It should, “Your Ultimate Skills, Earthquakes, and Dust Devils deal 15%x more damage.”
Wrath of the Berserker doesn’t deal damage though, it just helps other skills doing more damage.

Ohhh, I misread. But yes in a round about way, even still. If you are using ugly bastards helm to multiply fire damage and incindiary fissures aspect to turn earthquakes into fire damage, it will still benefit from heavy hitter passive. Also, ugly bastards helm will cause wrath if the berserker to issue its own fire damage on cast as well, seperate to the multiplier (while also benefiting from it). But, keep in mind wrath of the berserker by itself does not gain benefit from heavy hitter, but instead the earthquakes created would benefit from the wrath of berserker/ugly bastards/heavy hitter combo
I’m with you on this one seems a lot like Druid’s Petrify which doesn’t do any damage as a skill on its own.
But I have not tested it personally so I’ll believe it if someone says they have and it does work.
