Tempering is very rage inducing. I posted a suggestion/idea to change it up to give the player a little more control over the RNG. Take a look if you would like.
We need a better system! Long overdue. Heading into Season 10 and most of the complaints I hear from people in the community are based around Masterworking and Tempering. And the Scroll of Restoration does not fix any problems. Just makes us feel worse when we get to brick a great item twice instead of once.
Even during the PTR with unlimited resources/money I wanted rip all my hair out.
