Open World it always feels like it is, however in NMD I do question sometimes if it triggers.
What does not trigger its effects?

well im not 100% sure as i didnt play a thorn build here yet, but in general id say it triggers anytime a monster attacks you “directly”. so casts etc shouldnt trigger it.

Do ranged attacks trigger it?
I kind of assumed magic attacks don’t. But arrows? Or is it useless against ghosts. 
well it did work like that in diablo 3 for ranged direct atacks, id assume it should work the same here.

It’s the ultimate “come at me bro” piece of gear.
I had one on before and after a few levels, kept dying so went back to my other gear, but this one rolled nicely…so trying it again.

firstly when posting a link, post the link, highlight it and then hit this button on the blue bar </> . That will just post a non hypertext link but people won’t have to remove anything.

For posting images you need to get to trust level 3 I think.
Which if you are here daily and read and participate enough you will get it over time.
Don’t quote me but it is like daily active posting for about 2 months or something.
On the OW forum it was easier you just found the “Mercy needs buffs” thread and scrolled all the way down with the arrow to get your daily reading criteria. Here there is no never-ending thread like that to make it easy.
Once you have trust level 3 you can just paste a link to an image.
*Oh forgot don’t get silenced or banned, I don’t think you are in danger of that. Action tends to reset the timer it takes to get trust level 3.

My last build was using this armor. if you are a Barbaro, using this armor specifically, I recommend reading the article written by Snail on Maxroll, of all the constructions I tested with this armor, his was the one that I got the best results.

Using this armor, you need to power up a lot in paragon, get a lot of fortifi points, life, armor, resistances etc… Because it only gives you armor and an absurd amount of thorns, no damage reduction of any kind.

Yeah I am Blood-Minions I am fortified almost always.
I tried running this on Sorc on eternal before, and it became clear where it was not good. 
I like to play around with different things in my build, so definitely appreciate the input.
I tried using this armor on my necro, with BloodSurge, with minions and without minions. I didn’t get good results. Despite good necro fortitude aided by decrypt and iron maden, survivability was suffered when encountering elite enemies
