I think the druids look bad, but please do not use they do not eat meat as the reason. Lots of vegans out there are very obese.

Wait wait wait wait wait!

Cows eat grass = they are fat
pigs eat grass + veggies/fruits = they are fat
sheep eat grass = they are also fat

ect. etc.

So by your logic, it means all the above animals SHOULD be skinny AF?!

I also donā€™t like how the current iteration of Druid looks, but man, you be trippinā€™.

Something that lives in the wild and has a good amount of body fat is succeeding in nature. If your life is a permanent camping trip you probably arenā€™t too concerned with aesthetics.

I wouldnā€™t say no to a universal character creation body-slider because more customization and variation is a good thing but I can live with where the druid is at.

People ignoring that animals get MASSIVELY fat by eating only plants. Also, people ignoring that a druid turns into predators that eat meat. So tired of this trite inane topic. Also we can assume in this magical world where we can run and swing weapons non-stop that our magical heroes probably burn and require calories in the TENS OF THOUSANDS (someone should calculate this lol), and in this silly magical world I can still imagine the possibility of someone still being big boned, I canā€™t believe Iā€™m trying to rationalize this. But yes, it would have been tons more work for fitting all armor but I think the take away is that everyone would have loved at least some simple weight presets if not a slider.

Fun fact: actually very little is known about druids or their religion, not to mention what sort of diet they had. Historical evidence about them is biased, because it comes solely from Roman invaders. Druids themselves left no written archeological record. The popular image of the druids we have today is all fiction and speculation coming from modern Druidry (basically larper communities) and books of fiction.

Sorry, but your own personal interpretation of a druid is not factual in any way. Also, the Druid in D2 was larger framed and clearly ate meat. So Druidā€™s eating meat in the Diablo universe was already established. You donā€™t like it, no one is holding you down and forcing you to play a druid; or even Diablo IV for that matter.

Desper is right. The primary reason why I didnā€™t play druid is because I didnā€™t want to play an obese character. Until this is fixed, Iā€™ll never play Druid.

A fat druid on an omnivore druidic diet is statistically unlikely, yet 100% of Diablo 4 druids are obese. This is the problem. Give us a body shape slider at least.
