Ever since the last update, it takes a few tries before I can play Diablo, it keeps on freezing and becomes unresponsive, sometimes requiring me to restart my PC. This is very annoying. Please fix this Blizzard!! Hoping anyone has some sort of fix?

if you look around there are some fixes going around. couple blue posts from the other day.
A lot of people are having this issue post patch, some had suggestions to fixing it…just search the forums.
Here is one I remember linking for someone else with lots of “suggestions” I don’t vouch for any of these, but I am not having the issue.

I having the same issue. Still freezing during loading game. Can’t play at the moment.
i was having ridiculous hangs when horsing around from zone to zone last night. hope they fixed it.
you got a hardcore mode in the game, multiple seconds hangs are not good 
I had same problems, but after ‘disable sound’ by rightcliking on ‘battle.net’ in the procesline. The problem disappeared.
Way back when - I think S1. I was having issues loading the game. In my case it was related to the razer synapse software still installed on my machine (no longer have razer keyboard). Check the game logs and look for an error. It does something janky with razer and corsair lighting tools.
In my scenario it would always fail before loading into character select. It was fine at launch, then failed approaching S1, no changes on my pc.
Oh the fix was to go in some settings .ini file (or something similar) and just set it to 0 or 1 (flip it from what it was).
Game still freezes at the Blizzard splash (still on 1.3.1). But the insult to injury is I cannot get it to see that an update is available.
That explains it. 1.3.2 doesn’t release until tomorrow. Here I was trying to get a working version.
