Diablo IV: Into the Endgame!

I’m dumb as dirt, but strong!

Well , Classic Strong Barb

I just wish doing that wasn’t even considered creative, but simply a completely normal choice on the same lvl as going Str. Other games manage that.

The current attribute system sadly still seems bound to the same old “Main stat” idea that marred Diablo 3. Even if it certainly is improved.

The issue probably is when that was seen? As the paragon system seems to have been scaled down a lot compared to when it was originally show.
But yeah, I have also seen other stats in the past.

Video felt that they are aiming for a more linear progression style of game instead of a seasonal game, look how they always say that “you are not going to run out of things to do once max level”, it looks like the progression will continue, it’s not just get max cap quickly and farm dungeons and that’s it wait for new season.

To me it means that you’ll work your way to max level and experience content with a more MMO approach with a steady and linear progression, having a lot of things to continue working on once max level. If not seasons will be too short to do all that stuff.

I really hope they rework seasons and get rid of that reset every time a new season begins.

I don’t care what these people look like as long as the game is good.

they said that about d3 but at the end of the day youre just adding a paragon or 10 to your 2000+ lol. bored and not minding a wipe and a new season.

*keep in mind seasons are opt-in as well. you can never be wiped if thats what you want.

I do not. It also doesn’t matter in the slightest.

if you say so  the internet shows a different scenario though.

I dunno, I’m on the fence about that. Mostly because all it seems to do is make it so that good builds are exacerbated by the myriad of ways you can make a bad build.

Nice, I’m really curious what feedbacks they chose to listen to and what to ignore lol, looking forward to seeing it!

i woke up and had made a coffee, fed my cat and my dog, chased my dog around the yard yelling at it how im going to send it back to the pound because it takes poops that are too big, then proceeded to snuggle him at my computer…then i saw this…how could my morning get any better?

I’m so, so glad they took 6 quality minutes to go over the biggest, fundamental, CORE component for the longevity of the game.

I’m glad they matched the depth of time the end game will have with the length of the video.

I know but it’s unfair to not be able to experience the new content until the season ends.

That’s gatekeeping without a reason. People who play the season should be rewarded with season only cosmetics, but items, quests and new things should be in the seasonal and non seasonal games at the same time.

Also, I’m against seasons because they will divide the playerbase, making the non season server less populated.

We really shouldn’t have the seasons vs non-season discussion here, there’s already way too many topics about that.

I think it would be prudent to wait till your level 50 and then even lvl 70 to actually ‘feel’ endgame, not just watch it on You Tube.

Heck you could end up being correct after a true test of the games systems.

I have a sneak-in suspicion we will be all right.

My main post was not about seasons per se.

Given that every statement in your original post is poised in one way or another as a counter argument against seasons, yes – it’s about seasons. I can’t respond to that here without going down that rabbit hole.

game might be good for the 2 months you play it but after everyone realizes its basically a reskinned d3 theyll be like woops. there are no new things in d4, its call recycles renamed objectives/modes.

Helltides and the Tree of Whispers seems interesting. They add evergreen content to the overworld like public events do.

One thing I was hoping to hear about Nightmare dungeons was that they change up the dungeon layouts. They didn’t mention this so I am assuming they don’t. Hopefully the changes Nightmare dungeons create will be enough to keep dungeons interesting.
