Imagine lacking the basic logic and reasoning skills needed to comprehend that this is a shared world MMOARPG, not your personal safe-space where you can do whatever you want, with potentially no consequences and no affect on the game’s “economy”

Oh and necros were pretty broken during the beta, hence why they nerfed minions so much. So again, if you want broken minions, they’ll just make them unable to block mobs and make them generate zero threat outside of taunt abilities. You can’t have your cake and eat it.

After three seasons of garbage minions I’d gladly take one of OP ones. Especially with S3 being The Season of the Robot Pet.

They were OP in LvL 25 WT2 difficulty. Tell me more… Tell me more how broken they were in endgame. Oh wait. You can’t. I’ll tell you. Though they died rarely, their damage was the same as now. You still had to play actively.

But they can’t  As of now they can’t. They can’t block with their body, and only Bone Golem active abality can taunt. They don’t generate any ammount of aggro by standard. You are one of those idiots that, made premature conclusion by playing minion necro once in open beta, and never tried to go into endgame after the S0 patch.

And tell me how OP minions are worse than OP, truely OP, billions if damage 1 button OP biulds. I haven’t seen this many people pile on those builds and cry to nerf them. But when it comes minions, every mouth breather and troll crawles out of the darkest cornes of the community and act like a big brain expert, while have clearly no idea what they are flapping their gumms about.

Can she get me a friend?

It just means ring of mendeln and Xfal would proc somewhere else. They just dont want us to have Corpse Explosions as bread and butter like from Season 2. Hey, they buffed thorns. Thats the new lucky hits trigger. The golem would kill everything thru procing the rings… that’s season 3 to me.

With all due respect, let me get this straight… are you saying Necromancer Minions if buffed a little too much may become too broken and powerful… lol :rofl:you mean like the OP overly powerful and broken Barbarian and Sorcerer classes in Diablo IV as it is now!?

Because last I read a few weeks ago from Blizzard’s Rod Fergusson, he said leaving Diablo IV broken is fun and they are embracing it, although they are working to improve the game overall it’s unacceptable to leave the game “broken” when we paid for this game! It was NOT free and we didn’t expect to buy a broken, buggy BETA game! That’s for sure!

But in the meantime, leave Barbarian and Sorcerers OP and broken which makes other classes in the game not so appealing, competitive or worth playing. I guess we should all just play Barbarian and Sorcerer classes then since the rest of the classes are weak and “broken.” That is a very lame, lazy and hypocritical of Blizzard, and it is very disappointing!

It seems everyone should just be the two most OP classes in the game because Blizzard is okay leaving the game broken, especially the OP classes. What a joke! Blizzard needs to do the right thing and fix this BS unfair game play relating to classes in the game!

Otherwise they should remove all weak classes until they are fixed and properly buffed! This is especially IMPORTANT because now D4 Season 3 will have Leaderboard… which means only the top OP classes will be winning the top spot unfairly against all other classes! This is just pathetic and awful, and there is NO excuse for allowing this unfair game play in Diablo IV or any game!

Unfair Game Play is NOT fun or rewarding, BLIZZARD D4 TEAM!!! Get it together!
Blizzard should either hold off on adding Leaderboard to D4 or fix the lame, broken weak classes in the game, or remove them, or balance the OP classes! Whatever it takes to make the game fair when participating in Leaderboard events! This would be absolutely ridiculous to leave the game “broken” and having a Leaderboard where only the OP classes will be in the top spot! This is just shameful for a game we all paid for!

How lazy can Blizzard and the Dev Team be to even allow this unfair broken BS in Diablo IV!? It’s unreal!

Blizzard needs to do the right thing with this unfair game play issue, and you bet Necromancer and other classes, minus the OP classes, need a serious BUFF in Diablo IV big time! And if Minions need a bigger buff to fairly compete they should get the BUFF!!

Let’s hope Blizzard addresses this broken and unfair disparity between classes in Diablo IV sooner than later, especially since this game is still in buggy BETA land! - JJ -

Bruh… You’re in a tiny echo-chamber forum with the same couple thousand people arguing. Nobody is going to read all that…

Math scales. If I do 10 damage to a mob that has 100hp, it dies in 10 hits. If I do 1,000 damage to a mob that has 10,000hp, it dies in 10 hits. They also know that the TTK stats will get smaller as you reach end game and have better gear, talents and paragon points. The beta was more than enough information to know that they were going to scale exponentially better toward end game and lead into obligatory degenerate gameplay. Basically, you’d ONLY be able to play minions…

I played a necro for all of S1… A minion necro at that…

i got my entire necro minion summoner board ready for S3 gonna be fun, pretty… sure ill get 2shotted by butcher in tier 70-80 and my minions probably not much different,
according to maxroll i get over 100%extra bonus just on minion life, not looking into armour/thorns/resistance

and got over eh… 12khp 9k armour, 83dmg red unj, 40dmg red distant, 20dmg red total, 20dmg red close, gonna be interesting to see…

also my golems according to the board have over 400%+ dmg bonus
mages 200%+ dmg bonus, skeletons same, (paragon board will be changed tomorrow ofc after patch) ill change to whats necessary,…

oh and i got 49%+ lucky hit chance so ehm… ye that gonna be interesting to see, using blood orb for 1.5sec extra cooldown reset on Ultimate skill everytime i pick one up rather im full or not on hp…

then using a corpse has 30% chance to drop blood orb, (no lucky hit based), so that with curse to get 1sec cooldown less, gonna be interesting…

i HIGHLY doubt with ALL this that ill deal decent dmg, even though i’ve min/maxed everything now already

and oh max resistance on everything ofc cuz tankyness…

Whatever you say my friend, but I stand by everything I wrote.

As for Necromancer class in D4 - I like my Necromancer and enjoy playing it… but the unfair disparity amongst classes is ridiculous and that should be fixed, especially with the new season Leaderboard coming in Season 3. It’s just messed up and would be wrong for Blizzard to ignore this unfair game play issue, and I am not the only one saying it. I played last 2 seasons and I been playing since before the official launch date which is what the top tier edition of D4 gives. Cheers! - JJ -

Well, they are developers, are they not? Shouldn’t they be capable of actually developing tricky things to be relatively balanced and fun? If not, why did they include it in the game at all – better yet, why are they the devs working on this game?

So far, throughout the entirety of the game’s life, minions haven’t been balanced. Granted, the game needs an insane amount of work, so minions probably aren’t the top of the priority list. Hell, they still have us loading the inventory and stash of everyone in town, lol, but this merely echoes a known, common statement – this game is still in beta and shouldn’t have been released in this state.

Further, they don’t have a PTR, which is the most basic, rudimentary, and well known testing device they could possibly implement. And it’s not like they’re doing a good job without it, lol. So, why is there no PTR when they’re so extremely horrid at balancing without one?

why does it seem like the more they do to this game the worse it gets? Arent they supposed to be improving it?

Because that’s exactly what’s happening, lol.

Build variety is actually worse than it was at release. The game is more linear in the sense that everyone is forced to flip flop between Duriel and Helltides. They just added robots and called it “Season of robots!” right in their own heading in the announcement. They’ve done absolutely nothing to fix itemization or skills. And the amount of bugs and exploits has risen exponentially.

To top it all off, far less people are playing, so trying to do something outside of the normal Duriel/HT rotation simply doesn’t work. No one PVP’s anymore because everyone is gone and it’s nearly impossible to find a group for NMD’s or trades.

Unless they can pull off a miracle, like they did with D3, I doubt we’ll ever see the game in a good state. The thing is, they had to hire a new team (including a Director) to fix D3, and they had to market the hell out of it right before the expansion, in order to bring people back for the expansion.

I don’t know if that same scenario is even likely with D4.

You said well, my friend. I agree with you :100: percent on this! Blizzard can do MUCH better, for sure! Thanks for sharing. Cheers! - JJ -

The problem is there are just other games out there that do it better. Im not a poe fanboy, never even played the game but there are things poe does that are way better than d4.

Now there’s last epoch coming out and blizzard has some true competition and i dont think the they realize they’re on a sinking ship. Since immortal its been downhill for the diablo franchise and they need to do more than add some extra stash space and fix itemization. The gaming industry today isnt like it was years ago, if people dont like a game they’ll leave and not come back.

Everything you said is true, but honestly, I don’t know if D4 will actually inspire people to refrain from buying Diablo games. Blizzard’s marketing is basically magic. They put all their budget into cinematics, art, and marketing. Just look at D4, they ran through a myriad of Leads and teams, leaving us with a patched-together shell, where it’s quite obvious different design philosophies were in place during multiple iterations. Did that impact D4’s sales in the least? Of course not. People see a sexy devil mommy, hear the perfectly fit music, witness the incredible cinematics, and the rest is history.

After D3, I swore I’d never buy another Blizzard game. But honestly, I gladly paid $100 for D4 and was happy to do so.

Back when D1 and 2 came out, a game had no choice but to be incredible to get incredible sales. Now, gaming is entirely mainstream. All it takes at this point is a horrible game with amazing marketing.

S1 was a joyride for minionmancer, it was where they peaked. Ever since resistances matter, and only stacking arour don’t help with their thoughness, also auto casting corpse skills without a unique item. It was much much easyer to make a minion necro in S1. But ever since… Specialy in Ethernal… And I’m not even advocateing for insane damage to minions. But their thoughness needs to be much more reliabale even after lvl 80-90. Go on Ethernal and tell me how good minions are without Mendeln or Sacrilegious rings, against NMD 100 or any boss. Don’t come at me with S1 bro… I wish we were still in S1.

He should be fired, also he should never be hired anywhere ever again.
