My diablo 4 graphics are incredibly low res, and look like they are incomplete or broken, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, and switching from high to low and back, but no matter what, it looks the same.
I have everything on high, and have 32gbs of ram, and a 4060TI graphics card, far exceeding the requirements for these settings. I desperately need help for the problem it’s really taking me out of the game. I’ve seen several people talk about this issue but without any real solutions, any help would be incredibly welcome.
For comparison, I run a 12900K and a 4080 Super, and its barely meeting the needs of the game at full quality. I have a hard time just getting it to stay stable at 100FPS without turning off a few things.
Here are my recommended settings to use:
DLSS set to Balanced
Framerate capped to 60FPS (at least start here. The goal is to find a cap that won’t dip down even when visiting a vendor or in heavy traffic with other players)
Graphics set to High no Ray Tracing (If not able to choose no Ray Tracing with the quality setting, just make sure all Ray Tracing is disabled)
Disable Distortion & Chromatic Aberration
Enable Low FX (reduces the amount of on-screen effects)
Uninstall the High Res packs. That card will not use them (if you have the 8MB version) and they are designed for 4K displays (can be helpful on 1440 as well). If you are running 1080, no point in having them installed anyway, but they can be quite taxing on the lower class hardware such as a xx60 series card.
The other thing to try is setting a fixed swap file size of 32GB (32768MB) for your system. You can use the instructions below, but use the recommended size above, not what is suggested in the link:
tried your recommended settings and nothing changed, my graphics remain the same on all settings, also I’m not having performance issues, only graphical issues, also I have a 4k monitor and support
I think we need a copy of the Fenris report. Its possible its using the wrong GPU, but we can verify that with a copy of it.
So go to the game’s installation folder. In here are files named FenrisDebug. Find the latest one (sort by date).
You then use pastebin.com to share the contents of the file. (open the file, highlight the entire contents, and paste on that site). Then create a new paste and share the URL here.
