I have I think 4 or 5 seasonal characters. My daughter using the same game on coop splitscreen has 2.
Using character count as though its users is the most dishonest bull crap. It speaks nothing to people playing, time played, and satisfaction with the time that was spent playing.
I am not sure if Diablo EVER was a game people wanted to watch on Twitch much! So numbers on Twitch not necessarly mean much!

Everyone i know, those only under 18 are watching twitch streamers. Not even watching but just have it in backround.

The only meaning that had was cheap marketing for Blizzard due to the cosmetics giveaway.
I donāt know who was trying to flex about Twitch viewer numbers but theyāre equally as wrong as the people trying to use Twitch viewer numbers to claim the game is now declining.
You have to divide 7 mil characters created by 8 (+alts) due to no inventory space to get the true number

They will tune in to their favorite streamer, leave it in background while we play basket/soccer or anything. Youth today is really in FOMO on almost everything.

Yet the official D4 discord barely have anyone looking for a group for different events. You would think a few hundred at least were interested in finding a group for their activity between millions of players? Something doesnāt add up. Especially if you compare it with the massive activity the weeks following release.
