My CPU temperatures are spiking constantly, to 85-90 degrees on my Ryzen 9 7900X, with a liquid cooler. It wouldn’t be a problem, but this is happening every 1-3 Minutes. I don’t care if “That’s not that high of a temp” “You shouldn’t worry” No other game does this. and I’m worried it’s causing stress on the CPU and therefor will eventually break it.
My 6700XT is completely fine. Same with the ram and the rest of the system, the CPU is the only thing going nuts every 1-3 minutes, It lasts for about 5-10 seconds. Then drops back down to 45-55 (Which is where it usually is for most games.)
This is a known issue, that Does NOT seem to be getting the traction it needs. No other game does this, Only D4. This happens with Intel and AMD, so there is clearly a software issue inside the spaghetti code of the game.
Here are some previous forums that go back to when the game first released. Still not fixed.
