I think it would be a cool thing for blizzard to make mount trophies that are flags of countries so we can show pride in where we are from. They could donate some of the proceeds to charity to make a positive impact on the world and get the word out about D4!

A Scosglen flag for my Druid would be cool.
I’d rather not. Gaming companies have already done so much to insert faddish ideological this and that into their games that I really don’t want to give them license to do that with this property as well. I say we leave our flags out of Diablo.
I think the idea is thought about with good intentions, however it could easily be abused by players for other purposes. I’d rather not have my games be political in any sense. I’m all for people supporting their country, waving their flags around, but keep it out of video games.
This just opens up the floodgates for a whole mess of issues no game company would want to tackle. Especially in an online game.
OW has country flags, and it does indeed cause chaos, which would be fitting for this seasons theme
I find the idea of being proud of being a citizen of a country weird and simple minded.
As a German i am happy as hell to be German but proud? No.
What have i done in the act that my parents had a child? What have i to do with german cars or our National Football or Basketball team?
I feel joy, if they win, but proud?
I am proud about things, I have accomplished. Being born as German is none of this.
Maybe there is one thing, I am proud about my country. That point, that we overwhelmingly learned the lessons from WW2.
That is forbidden by law to think of caucasian race, asian race and so on. We all are one race, human.

Flags of Kyovashad and so on would on the other hand a niche but nice idea.

That’s a little cold in all honesty. Can’t necessarily say I’m proud of being a citizen in my country either. Based on how it was formed and all the atrocities associated with that, not to mention current events. I’m grateful to live here, don’t get me wrong, but pride comes from an accomplishment, not something that was given to you at birth.
Gaming is almost a synonym for a escapism. Kindly keep the “real world” out of my monster slaying, demon bonking fun time thanks.

Im with the GOAT on this. This has good intentions but could lead to some bad outcomes like party members being kicked out of parties based on country they are from. Can you see mount effects in the party load screen? IF so that would make it worse as well.
We could modify this idea. Lets add and have flags for diablo 4 zones as the background and then your chosen hero in the foreground. So you could have Hawezar Barb red and black flag or Scoglen light green and dark green Druid flag. Then players can also choose the colors and you have tens of thousands of combos.
I like this idea a lot Urza. Just afraid Blizz would charge 4999 platinum and “donate” it to their VPs and CEOs.
I would never equip a flag from any country (reserving exceptions if there’s a cool one i don’t know about).

I am afraid the current political climate will only get worse and worse and the U.S. will break up like the old USSR did. Maybe 10 years or 20 or 30 but its coming how we are headed.
I am afraid of AI and how its hurting so many ppl from replacing workers, to helping ppl commit suicide, to being the new arms race, to maybe going full terminator someday.

That’s a hard no. Sanctuary has nothing to do with real world stuff… although since they are breaking the lore with all this dumb starcraft sheit and the other (already forgotten) collab they had… why not, just F up the game even more. It’s not like I pay them anything anyway 
I wish we had an ARPG based on starcraft. ITs all there. IT could work.
