Continued issue with Furnace on Spiritborn

So I figured maybe the reason furnace is not working with skills given the Jaguar tag is because maybe no potency node passives work for skills outside their associated base spirit–i tested with resilient (extra life after casting a gorilla skill) by casting touch of death and rake with Gorilla primary spirithall and the bonus was given.

So its not that potency node passives cant associate, its just that Furnace has no interaction with skills outside of Jaguar skills despite the jag SH. Furnace at 9/9 and 13 ferocity shows no difference in kill times vs 0/9 furnace. It forces people into using RoK. Please fix

It sounds like you are asking if the Jaguar skill tag might be getting applied visually, but not functionally—meaning the Furnace passive isn’t actually recognizing the skill as Jaguar-tagged.

There’s more than one way to apply a skill tag—can you clarify how you’re doing it in this case? (e.g. through Spirit Hall choice, gear like Harmony of Ebewaka, or something else?)

The passive reads:

“Jaguar Skills deal 0.5% [ x ] increased Critical Strike Damage per stack of Ferocity.”

So if you’re tagging a skill as Jaguar and still not seeing a crit damage increase, then yeah, this seems like a bug. The wording implies any Jaguar-tagged skill should benefit, regardless of how it got the tag.

Also, I wonder if this might be happening with other passives or Spirit tag interactions too. Could be worth looking into whether this is isolated to Furnace, or part of a broader issue with tag-based passives.

Already posted about it in general and several times as well. Stripped character down to 50% crit chance and removed paragon boards and witch powers and mercenaries and almost all aspects entirely so the enviroment was sterile. I have 9/9 furnace, 13 max ferocity and 1700 crit damage bonus and im using touch of death with insatiable with Jaguar primary spirithall and noxious resonance, so 50% crit chance is important because since i cant achieve 100%, 50% means every other attack should crit and…

That was an earlier post regarding it. I i can get up to 9/9 on furnace and 13 ferocity and i have used jaguar as primary spirithall. I have personally not seen a drastic difference in kill times between just completely going 0/9 on furnace and going 9/9 on furance. With roughly 58% more crit damage bonus, and after aspects, about 5000 crit damage bonus, i should notice an extra 3000 crit damage bonus.

Maybe im doing something wrong, some independent verification would be nice. It doesnt reflect on character sheet
