I dissagree, wont even reply with why, but on almost every point you mentioned.
Agreed. Thatās something like 9 hours a day since launch if you were in early access. Are families sending search parties for missing loved ones?
Joking aside - self awareness might be good medicine here. Itās probably just burnout.
maybe you should have stopped before 300 hours if you didnāt like the game
D2 is just outdated. Nothing even holds poes jock strap. Your pigeon holed into certain builds because they are so far ahead of others because of no balancing. Youāre using the same 3 to four skills per class even if you do mix up the builds. Also, we have been using frozen orb for the past 23 years. We have been playing the exact same classes for 23 years now, games washed.
This keeps getting said, but boredom is not insight. Itās just boredom. Burnout is honestly something anyone should expect after cramming 200+ hours of a single activity into 22 days or less.
I think you meant he should had realised the truth before even 300hours.
Well maybe you should take a break lol i love this game still. I have played less than 10 hours though, donāt know about your play time.
This is so well said and it absolutely kills me too.
Arrogance or idiocy and either way, there is no excuse. Try re-reading the blog post from them about seasons too. The wording is them walking this tight rope of trying to maximise store exposure and promising after launch content but thereās a twinge of foreshadowing in it too like ā¦they knew. Almost as if they wanted to head up the incoming complaints about lack of content before they really get started.
Itās full of promises too. It even goes on to say there will be player voted changes. Whatever that implies. It doesnāt get in to details about many of said promises though. Who knows if they will keep them. Just read it again this morning and itās an odd re-read. Another thing that stuck out to me was the personās title. It was like āHead of Diablo Productā and she was the one that explained the pass etc.
Head of Product.
We factory gaming now boys.
A lot of us got to 100 with less than a hundred hours.
Yeah noā¦ someone does not play a game for 300 hours if they think this.
You would be able to tell you dislike it that much, after 1-2 hours.
Only a fool, woudl spend tha tmuch time willingly, on something they dislike the way you do. Respect your own time before even trying to get respect from others.
If it takes you more than a few hours to decide something isnt for you and you push through it regardlessā¦Im not sure anything about your opinions in the end are insightful.
Forb is not a meta skill, sounds like you donāt know anything about d2
D-heads saying like āofc you are burned after xxxx hours a day since releaseā dude just be quiet!!
People used to play other blizzard games for xxxx hours for even more than some month and years - why is it now ok if diablo 4 is ādoneā after 300 hours? Lmao?
People do something with a goal in mind and finish it. I like to ābeatā videogames. To beat a video game I have a goal set, and I see that goal through, that is called determination.
Buddy the game plays from level 5 to level 70. If you love it now you will love it at 70. Even once you have full ancestral gear in all legendaries it feels bad.
Its true though, burn out is a thing. If your not in grade school that is.
If you have that much time as an adult, aka over 18, then you have a far different problem.
PoE is free to play with them trying to sell you loads of stuff itās pay to win. This is a case in point of how subjective things are. I tried PoE and hated it.
D4 hasnāt even been out for 5000 hours. Do you people not think before posting?
Well i dont play much as the OP but also play evening after work daily 5-6 hours / played the early release weekend.
Currently lvl 80 and super bored since lvl 70. this game is just bad with itemizatiom and stuff it doesnt offer much to make me wanna turn it on again - for what? Finding the next rare with 2% more crit dmg to put an aspect on it? Lmao
Try a little math, see how many horus a day is spent to reach 300 hours played in 23 days.
