Blizzard showcases bugged BL Sorc and does a disservice to community. šŸ˜ 

Is the build that continually 1 hits world bosses a HOTA barb?
If it is then that build is defiantly broken.
Everyone keeps on going on about build balance, do you really want all classes to be exactly the same?

I wouldnā€™t say BL or HotA is the result of a bug, but I also say something working beyond expectations is bugged. I use bugged as shorthand especially when typing since it conveys a general point quickly, IE if something is bugged then itā€™s not working right.

So maybe with those builds the math is coded correctly and values are exactly what they wanted at the time but they still arenā€™t performing within their stated desired parameters or goals. You know, that whole hands making a space this large but some things are outside that space up here and that isnā€™t what we want thing they did at Blizzcon.

That said, Iā€™m fine with them changing those parameters to make BL and HotA fit. They just need to make sure other core builds function similarly.

yes its hota. i have 1 shot wb many times. like i said crit and ovepower are doing wacky things. i can overpower for 12-20mil but i overpower crit over 250mil and that just seems like a strange multiplier. instead of 1.5x it is more like 15x. so i think someone office spaced the overpower crit interaction

How is that confirmation that itā€™s broken? When the community non-stop complains about one specific build being too powerful, they are bound to address it and their response was it wouldnā€™t be nerfed. I think itā€™s too damn powerful too so donā€™t get me wrong and think iā€™m arguing for it to stay. Iā€™m just saying that addressing a huge topic of discussion isnā€™t confirmation of anything other than they have heard us talking about it a lot.

Iā€™ve never played the Barbarian class & have yet to see a Barbarian one-shot a World Boss even once. Iā€™ve been playing D4 since launch too. What I have seen is Ball Lightning builds melt World Bosses in under a minute countless times this season which completely ruins it. If a Barbarian build can one-shot a World Boss, then whatever build that can do that also needs to be nerfed for the sake of balance. OP builds ruin the fun & are a disservice to the community. I for one enjoy a decent challenge - though Iā€™m not a fan of one-shot boss mechanics & will therefore skip the Echo of Lilith boss entirely. Echo of Lilith is pointless since her loot drops are identical to any other boss with the exception of a mount. This is Diablo - not Demonā€™s Souls/Dark Souls.

What do I think of BL? It is severely OP.

Did Blizzard confirm BL is performing as expected? In the current version of the game, no nerfs to OP builds, no because everyone knew BL was OP way before this Campfire Chat. Is it performing as expected? Yeah all things considered. That is what happens when you donā€™t nerf OP builds or fix bugs that are causing OP builds to exist.

I think that your main problem is Blizzard using BL as an example for the AoZ run. Just know that Blizzard isnā€™t going to make AoZ part of the base game. It is a testing bed for endgame content to find what the current high end players find enjoyable about it. It is more about the mechanics of AoZ and not so much about number balancing.

Now I will stop feeding this troll post.

Is the mount guaranteed here? I got carried once on her and i dont remember it dropping.

They are trying to tell you, even with a broken build such as BL, you can only reach lvl 10 in AoZ.
It is their way of telling people, AoZ will be hard.

Itā€™s not binary. If a bug is defined as creating an unexpected problem, it doesnā€™t have to stop functioning in some way for that.

No, but do you want one build to completely overshadow every other build?
Damage is the most important part of a build.
Overperforming builds is most bothering in team play because if one part has very little damage compared to the other itā€™s boring to play together for both. This is demonstrated at legions and world bosses but also anywhere when playing together.
Ever noticed how people avoid each other in D4? Thatā€™s because performance is so important. If one part underperforms compared to another, that part will usually leave or start trailing.
Thereā€™s no other role in D4 than damage. Thereā€™s no tanks or healers and thereā€™s no crowd control specialists, only damage.
The only reason why damage is important between parts is to have multiplayer function. If there is a great damage disparity itā€™s useless to play together.

Blood liquid mount says is guaranteed as part of quest to kill lilith. What mount are we talking about that is not guaranteed??

Ball Lightning in its current form melts World Bosses in under a minute. I know since Iā€™ve witnessed it countless times while participating in several World Boss events this season. World Bosses are supposed to be epic & fun. They arenā€™t whenever a Ball Lightning Sorcerer is on the battlefield.

Enjoy your ridiculously OP build while you canā€¦ Come Season 3, donā€™t be surprised to see Ball Lightning severely nerfed & rightfully so. Itā€™s so not fun taking part in World Boss events where a ridiculously OP Ball Lightning Sorcerer melts a World Boss in under a minute.

The mount is a guaranteed drop from Echo of Lilith. There was a bug that would prevent the mount from dropping under certain circumstances which was supposed to be fixed in a previous patch. Other than the guaranteed mount drop & player titles - the latter of which is something I personally donā€™t use/could care less about, Echo of Lilith has the very same loot table as any other boss in the game - making her pointless/redundant. Personally, I am not a fan of one-shot boss mechanics. The uber bosses in D3 are a perfect example as to how uber boss mechanics should work. Theyā€™re challenging but not ridiculously OP like Echo of Lilith. This is Diablo - not Demonā€™s Souls/Dark Souls.

Ill make a different one then, a new OP build will once again surface and ill look for your thread and post another version of this. this will be a fun seasonal thing between us.

I play BL and itā€™s fine. Reminds me of the wand of woh EB wiz in D3. If it gets nerfed then fine, Iā€™ll just play the newest broken build as always.
