oooooofffffffff lmao wild reason, ban or muted? or suspended
Spamming chat is against the rules so I am not shocked if something was done either based on reports or based on some sort of anti-spam system. I assume it was a suspension and not an account closure? Unless they thought you were a spam bot.
You do dungeons and realize one has an unusual number of mobs. Like REALLY unusual. Something is sus. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Donât try to exploit it. Further, if you hear about some âtrickâ to level fast and exploit some game quirk, that is also a good indicator. Those folks are calling out something unusual and taking advantage of it.
Very risky to participate in. Running that one very dense area hundreds of times shows intent to utilize that specific glitch to gain something faster than intended. If the rest of the game does not work that way, be sus.
Roflmao. I was just reading the replies and it hooked me up, felt the need to say something. DIABLO 4 is faaaar away from what an online Rpg should look like. You could compare it to Wolcen. It will insta die the day Poe 2 launches. Limited stash, no gem pouch, canât move entire inv to stash and vice versa, no trading of legendary items with your friends, you must be careful what you give them because it can get you banned, and the list goes on. Then the bugs arrive. Toon glitches and u must logout menu to fix, cutscenes too and you have to alt tab to be able to skip again, dungeons glitch and it will kick u out when a member joins, etc⌠As for exploits, I honestly Love them. U can get exp in a dungeon from entrance? Roflmao? No proximity leech like other games? Get good scrub and learn to code! If it works like this is devs fault and me and everyone else will abuse it, and should not be punished. If anyone thinks otherwise, they been living in a cave for the last decades. Love Diablo and Iâm really disappointed with the game they sold us, poor content for 70$
The funny thing is technically discord is a third party program but I never heard of Blizzard banning people using it in their games. They should provide a list of allowed third party apps because clearly they arenât all banned.
" if you are nice to them, they will be nice to you " - me
I just taught you a life lesson here folks.
I donât know what you mean.
You can be as nice as you like and still be banned. Itâs not as simple as being mean to someone is the only way to be banned.
It has to interface with their program. Discord runs congruent. Blizzard canât really go after congruent things because thatâs insane, everything is congruent on a computer. Everything.
So Discord is fine. So is the Windows OS, Notepad, MS Paint and Skyrim.
Happened to me, I opened a ticket and got it resolved under 24 hours
You got someone that actually looked at your ticket closely and resolved it.
Not all GMs do a thourough job and depending on the time it happens they may have a huge caseload. You can be unlucky and have someone not investigate properly.
The problem with this is you donât get to talk to a GM one on one in real time. You have to hope they do their job. If they donât and you know you are innocent you are out of luck.
If that is the case, I am sure a nice day of house cleaning, or perhaps a visit to the gym will make time go fast
look until you see streamers getting banned(you wont) you should feel free to exploit as much as you want thats just the fair and honest truth
Curious to know (though I know the answer) but has Blizzard introduced any sort of warning system? There is some obvious actions I can definitely understand, but some not so obvious. I do not know the criteria or details of how some players could have been banned for exploiting the dungeon leveling thing, but I would think that first and foremost a warning should have popped up telling the players they have 30 seconds or 1 minute to cease or else.
Fact is that a few players may not even realize what they are doing is against the rules. One could easily argue that Uber-leveling in D2 was an âexploitâ just like Cow leveling was before that. Should we have been banned for that? Never mind some obvious opinions, the fact is it was âallowedâ in game so we used it.
I guess what bugs me is seeing 20+ years of Blizzard getting giddy over announcing all the bans they did for game X, Y, or Z, and I got a sense over the years that it seemed to be an objective to ban as many accounts as they could. Question arose as to what criteria was being used to determine this, and over the years there have been actual proven instances of false positives. For games that appeal to all ages, I would rather see a system that at least informs and warns the younger players, many of whom may not realize what they are doing is wrong.
that would be nice but its not the kind of thing they usually react to on the spot. theyll bring it to a table and take decisions after i assume.
itâs not like devs are watching our screens ready to warn us of âbadâ behavior at any time
they should be extra ruthless against streamers that showcase it to thousands imo.
but it looks likes theyll just forget about it and try to fix what allowed it instead.
perfect crime, in plain daylight a bit silly
Karmaâs a myth heh
i wish they went hard on all exploits. at least hard enough so that the sentence âexploit early exploit oftenâ loses its popularity instead of making more sense every day.
Lol banning people for exploiting⌠its a farking Diablo game.
Fix your game, hotfix the exploit asap.
Embarrassing.
No, they donât.
If you get banned from a game, you canât go and âdemand a refundâ because you got banned, nor will you get one.
What that type of refund is for is when you purchase a service and cannot access it due to issues on the end of the service provider. So if Blizzard were to experience say⌠a week long D4 outage which prevented EU players from accessing the game service at all. Then EU players could demand a refund and get one.
But if an EU player gets banned, thereâs no way in hell theyâre getting a refund.
Play a certain way.
Think a certain way.
Act a certain way.
World is going to Hell quickly.
Not D4 style.
this happens when a machine do the work that a real brain/human have to do.
and this can go even worst as company fired people for profit.
donât worry , is the new green world.
Eat the bugs.
You will own only four stash tabs and be happy.
I vote for Elon Musk, so he can get me to Mars and off this clownworld.
You sound like a child lol. Thats not how any of this works.
And in the ENTIRE history of online gaming no one has EVER won a case for being banned âunfairly.â Not once. In the history of ever.
Go ahead and give it a shot though. Lawyers need money too
