Balance Team - Awesome Work!

If you assume that each pit level scales 17% from the previous, below shows the relative power of each class. I guess if blizzard would just let me get ~1900 rogue friends together without scaling the pit we could clear it in about the same time as a spiritborn. It’s literally almost impossible to be this bad at your job.

Class Max Pit Relative Power
Spirit 150 1875
Necro 114 7
Barbarian 112 5
Sorcerer 105 2
Rogue 103 1
Druid 102 1

Of course in the above I didn’t even account for the time differential in the clears so the difference is understated. The worst part is that this was known before the game went live and blizzard decided to bork an entire season rather than fix.

Is that Spritborn Max Pit post evade-fix or pre evade-fix?

Was Quill Volley, not evade.

Gotcha, had to make an assumption since I’m not all that familiar with the meta right now.

While pushing pit isn’t something I do in D4, the class balance is indeed awful. Blizzard shouldn’t have made spiritborn that powerful. There is nothing they can do the at this point to balance the game without making a bunch of people mad.

It’s not evade. Evade was never about the damage, it’s about the speed. The funny thing is, I went from 4 evades/sec to 2 evades/sec, but Quills hit twice wasn’t even working on Kepeleke and now it does so it literally did nothing to the damage; you just move slower.

Shouldn’t Barbs be last here? This is wrong.

Might be theoretical maximum?

I suspect that a single build has been found that just fits the pit and you have to struggle to get through it. all other builds are probably down in the cellar. 50-60 maybe.

Barbarian is currently waeakest class, that for sure.

Evade wasnt even the best spec and they killed it anyway.

It didnt use kepelke before though. You used sep whatever for the evade reduction until you invested a ton of money and time and then used a legendary for the power.

You don’t play evade build any more. You only did it for the speed but that was nerfed. Now Quill Volley build has double dmg lol

If you play anything other than bugged snapshotted mighty drop, then yes, it should be last.

whistles … looks like it’s time for a Necro nerf.

I think it’s the Mighty Throw build that pushed deeper into the pit. It’s the best Barb build. Barb and Druid but need a lot of help.

Why bother balance, the content is bugged. Any skill other than bugged build can clear mobs with hundred trillions of HP?

Spirit born is a class with the build in developer debug mode. Which we can turn it on to test how buggy is the Pit150 content. From there we can identify the reason why all skills in Necro could not clear the content.

And this is why most knew balancing the game around the PIT was a horrible idea in the first place. That was just the lazy Blizzard D3 team pretty much putting this D4 in maintainance mode.

Pretty much locked on that Microsoft will not be allowing more than 1 additional expansion for this game.

I believe it’s 26%, not 17%.
Doubles every 3 levels.
2 ^ (1/3) = 1.26ish.

2000 druids together may do it, come on guys, get on discord or something…

After patch quill volley sb time for clearing pit 150 went from 8 minutes down to 5…that’s pretty much in line with the now working double hit (You know, they had not enough damage so they absolutely needed to fix that)

Yeah…

Less than 30 days left anyway, who cares
