Point is you have to expand on features when you create a sequel, not throw them in the trash.
The thing is, they managed to fail to meet even those with VoH. I expected a game that would have an amazing campaign (like base D4) with a hopefully less flimsy endgame, but was polished.
Instead, I got the worst campaign in the Diablo franchise, an endgame with more to do but still the same end-point with the same systemic issues itâs had for over a year, and even more bugs and stability issues than Last Epoch.
You canât be seriousâŚ
The original plan was to reveal a second Diablo 3 expansion late into 2015 during BlizzCon, and its codename was âThe King in the North.â Eventually, that plan was scrapped, and the expansion was broken down into patch content, giving the game new areas of the map and story elements for free, like what we saw with The Ruins of Sescheron the Greyhollow Island and the Cube just to name a few items we recived for free. Patch notes.

I think part of the problem is they have had to spend time and resources revamping the game beause after S1 they decided to reverse course and go D3. At this point they just need to leave the base game alone (tell people to take it or leave it) and work on class balancing. Every class should be as fun as the SB. Spend the rest of the time making seasons that arent a copy paste of past seasons. Try new endgane content with each season and if its popular make it part of the base game.
Their plan will be to salvage something about their reputation which means thry will scrap the Mephisto line and thry will introduce Diablo on the next exp whixh probably will be the last one.
So according to this No effort and or work will be exerted/done to fix itemization, Skills, Bugâs, Or alleviate The Fenris Issues?! OK thatâs it! The Hand writings on the wall that Buzzards gonna go under maybe not this year or the next, But within five maybe ten years
6 more days, then the D4 sycophants can have this forum and game all to themselves. Subdriver will tell you that without internal metrics that sub 300 players on isnât an indicator of a game in massive trouble. Must be sweet when all your arguments involve sticking your head in the sand and ignoring everything going on around you.
Youâre equating a lot of the success of Blizzard to Diablo 4 for some odd reason. While it wonât help their reputation in the long run, it wonât be what kills the company as a whole. Itâll just put another dent in the fender. I think youâre forgetting about their other games, not to mention what company owns them now.
We may not see D5, but Blizzard will live on regardless. Itâll just be a shell of what it currently is, which is a shell of what it was decades prior to now.
Given whatâs happened in the past:
- D5 will be tabled, lauded, and greenlit
- Couple of years in, itâll be looking good
- Devopment will then be canned for reasons
- D5 will then become Overwatch 3
Honestly all the big ones seem a shell of their former selves now. Activision, Blizzard, Ubisoft, EA. All the big game developers got money hungry and turned to poops since my young years.
Ubisoft putting in micro transactions and an anti cheat in their single player Assassins Creed game. Just so people canât hack it for xtra xp and currencies to make game better for themselves. Why? Because they want to sell xp token and currencies in their cash shop. Single player game. Like wtf? You know they are going to balance that game around buying that stuff so the game is going to be a grindfest pos.

No not D4 The Diablo series has been affected by the Fenris issues, I suppose since your ONLY Playing D4 you perhaps didnât know D3 & D2R have also been touched affected by the Fenris issues as well tho D2R to a much lesser degree than D4, D3âŚI suppose I shouldnât say the whole series since like WoW I donât play Diablo Immoral, However I did see it posted that Call of Dutyâs been affected which I also donât play. I do play D2R, D3 & D4 I have commented on this before however I suppose Iâm on your donât pay much attention too list? thatâs ok, However what Iâm saying and have been saying for some time, First D3, WoW, Diablo Immoral and now D4 can be listed as the last failing attempts at cash grabs by a once great company, When did that start you ask? Once again we can point the Fickle Finger of Fate at Blobby Kotex
I did not in fact know about the Fenris issue affecting multiple Blizzard games to be honest. I only ever play SC2 and D4 lately. I havenât touched D3 since it went into maintenance mode, although I never had this issue pop up for me. I also havenât touched D2 for over a decade, when I tried out one of those fun private server/mod things. I didnât buy D2R. So yes, I fully admit my ignorance to this.
Oh one of my most upvoted posts goes into this, from a year back. Let me find it.
I was disappointed that day my friends, like a young teen trying to return a physical copy of No Manâs Sky at a GameStop.
Yeah I got a really decent laptop a couple of years ago and until these crashes began sometimes to desktop and sometimes freezing it completely. I began seeing signs the issue was destroying my Lenovo Legion 5, And it was at that point I uninstalled D3 & D4 and reinstalled PoE to try out PoE 2 when it comes out having lost all interest in anything Buzzard puts out with the possible occasional exception of D2R
Man I loved Starcraft. Me and a friend would battle all the time. We would sometimes do things like build for an hour no peaking just so we could both get bases up to full capacity and go ham and all other kinds of stupid rules we imposed on ourselves. It was so fun.
My favourite Blizz game is Rock and Roll Racing. Whilst they werenât Blizzard when it was made, they were Silicon and Synapse, who then became Blizzard.
Close second place to Blackthorne.
I honestly never heard of the Rock and Roll racing. I seen Blackthorne but never played it.
Fun, very repetitive racing game. Think RC Pro-Am meets Mario Kart. Assuming youâve played the old school versions.
Best way to put it.
Basically, you earn money winning races, destroying cars, buy more weapons, better cars, so on so on.
Very well known for its soundtrack - real rock songs turned into instrumentals for the soundtrack. Paranoia by Black Sabbath is one for example, same as some Deep Purple stuff like Smoke on the Water.
The announcer is also well known - Larry Huffman. He passed away in July 2024, RIP.
I would love for them to revamp this, but keep the same POV. Closest thing we got was a limited event in Heroes of the Storm which I think was centered around Chinese NY or something from memory.
Well you might want to get your ears checked because you have been hearing wrong! PoE2 early access is so much more than a teaser, it has a full endgame, the only thing missing is the last portion of the campaign and some of the classes and ascendancies. Waiting from 6 months to a year to play it because you are too busy with DA Veilguard is a huge mistake in my opinion (my god do I miss DA OriginsâŚ) but hey we are all entitled to make wrong decisions
