Why should we waste time for lvling? Its boring. The only time it should be slow is on your very first time when creating first character and have to do the story. Also this season is only 1,5 months if i am not mistaken. Imagine needing 3 weeks to lvl to max lvl. My first char took me 3 weeks with exploring the game.

Its a race to 100 and a ladder
It was a diablo thing where maxing out was a challenge .
And if you had lvl 100 impossible to hit, everyone is racing til season end. Not that im saying do that, but , ya you dont need to be max lvl every season to enjoy the game.
Hate how gaming companies cater to this new wave of no thumb , lazy gamers and micro transactions

Actually I have an idea if you want to make it slow and hard why not keep the lvl 1 whites you get at the start don’t upgrade man you’ll be at it for ages problem solved

It’s called good character progression. Something that Diablo fans or Blizzard fans in general haven’t seen in about 20 years.
It’s actually quite enjoyable and very rewarding if done correctly. Again, something that hasn’t been done for a long time now.

there are valid arguments to be made about the leveling speed, this is not one of them.

You linked a video of an obvious bug, but record yourself replicating the bug and post the video of you jumping 30 levels and prove everyone wrong
Edit: why do people keep mentioning leaderboards and race to 100 on the forums? If you are on the forums, there is a 99.5% chance you arent in serious contention for any accolades, so it doesnt affect you.
Its a game, people will find efficient ways to level and play. Just dont follow any guides and do quests if you are worried about levelling too fast. This is the most braindead complaint on the forums

Hard pass. I care nothing for competition. Give us seasons where we can max out several characters and several builds, instead of having to grind one just to get to the level cap.

D2 was a race to 99, and I think that’s all it tracked.
Isn’t D4 leaderboard about Pit and Gauntlet (maybe the new mode)? Is there even a leaderboard for getting to 100 first in D4? I haven’t really paid attention to the leaderboards in D2, D3, or D4.

Thats d2. Ladder in D4 is about pit pushes. No one cares about leveling.
Must admit I’m quite disturbed that they decided to harm the game to make it faster (i.e. more convenient for HC and streamers)
Like, really dislike the fact that until hit say lvl60 the game literally feels like you’ve not done enough at all (really dislike that design tbh)
Perhaps they made the game deliberately “power hungry” by choice, but just doesn’t feel right… Hate it when game has no “stepped progression” of sense of accomplishments

There is no leaderboard for race to 100. So slowing leveling is pointless. Not sure why some people are so hot and bothered over this.
