After Spiritborn

Paladin/Crusader A must. Crusaders are ready and waiting the the swamps of Hawezar in Zarbinzet. They have banded together in search of the Holy Artifact. After Paladin/Crusader the devs can come with something new again.

Rememberā€¦the Legacy Blizzard Diablo 4 devs.

Which would I prefer? I know.
Either they fix this crap called a game first, or they return it :money_with_wings:.

I would love a warlock class in this game. Summon demons to do your bidden or use demonic powers against them.

I wouldnt mind that being the next class, but paladin fans would lose their minds so Im willing to wait.

We need paladins / crusaders, or maybe some kinda holy caster class Iā€™d be happy with that too.

I want some shiny lights!! :flashlight::flashlight::flashlight:

Iā€™m willing to see/try any new types of classes. Perhaps the next could be a Hero Paladin whatever that might be. Give the masses what they want and turn up the dial a few more notches for Diablos first ever Hero Class :open_mouth:

We definitively need a holy class that uses shield. Necro being the only class that can use shield is a weird design choice. I would like some kind of Paladin/Valkyrie hybrid with Auras, shield and Javelin abilities.

Actually love this idea because there is actually a huge dissent among demons

Like a Cultist/Rogue Triune or something? Sure but after Paladin/Crusader. But then again will the Cultist/Rogue Triune fight for Sanctuary or the Prime evils?

Iā€™m mixed about the Spiritborn. Do I want a South American themed class? Yeah, for sure. But what exactly is it based on? Is there an actual warrior in history or myth called ā€œspiritbornā€?

Every class in the Diablo series is either a class based on real myth/history/concept or a concept of a class that is based on things that existed in real existing myth. Maybe pulling an actual warrior from tribal history fails at being PC, but making something up on the spot and calling it ā€œspiritbornā€ feels like the team ran out of ideas.

The class looks cool and looks like it calls back to the Amazon class that I sorely miss, but opens up a slippery slope to making whatever they want. In that case, why not make a class called unicorn fairy troll? The series stuck to tradition for good reason, because the traditional D&D classes had something sensible for everyone.

That said, Iā€™m in the crowd that feels empty without the good olā€™ sword and board (no, necromancer doesnā€™t count). The pally/crusader was a staple element in the game most fitting to the good/evil theme of Diablo (kind of the whole point). My good buds that play pally classes, as their reason for playing, was forced to choose barb, as if those were even remotely similar.

I donā€™t need new class ideasā€¦ we had some great playstyles in D2/D3 that I would appreciate to come backā€¦ Javazone, Trap Assa, Turret Build etc.
